A list of puns related to "Speedster"
I feel like it would be a much more effective than just punching and throwing each other.
As of the latest patch (and come Dragonite release), Speedsters mostly used in high level play got nerfed (Zera, Talon). Along with the release of the OP Tsareena, and with gameplay footage of Dragonite being good, does this mean that Speedsters are going to be less used, if not be used at all, in the meta? Additionally, this may be the era of All-Rounders as the new core of the meta. Any thoughts?

Hello everyone, it's been a few months since I last posted here. I was extremely busy with school and had some personal problems to deal with. Recently I took some time off the create some concepts.
Thank You

All of my pictures down below are a little faded due to the fact that I don't have a good computer.
As the title says.
Ruby is willing to kill, and is fully recovered after each round. Dust is unlimited.
Win by KO/Incap for 5min+
Fight on the streets of Coruscant for all rounds.

How far can Ruby get?
So, let's say Speedy Mcspeedster is using thier wall running to scale a building, and they're in a hurry, so they're running up that building at thier full speed. But maybe insteada stopping on the roof, they trip on the raingutter or something and thier momentum carries them straight up.
For simplicity's sake i'm defining "orbit" as about the height of the ISS, that's about 250 miles up.
Now, by the books, when you run a simple projectile equation, with d=Vi t - 1/2 g t^2. Initial height is probably irrelevant in something like this, and we assume the body goes more or less straight up. From this equation, it looks like anyone with a speed rank of 12 or higher would be able to make it!
But of course, anyone whose taken a physics class knows that this is ignoring air resistance. An actual body would probably need a much faster Initial velocity. With my physics 1 knowledge exhausted, i started guesstimating and googling.
I read somewhere that a baseball would reach orbit(not defined by my terms) with a vi of 11 km/s, with escape velocity about 7 and the 4 accounting for air resistance. I did some numbers and a human has about 25 times the surface area of a baseball, and let's ignore how their body's positioned. Uncertain what to do with that info, i just multiplied that 4 by 25, meaning a human would have to get launched at 107 km/s to reach orbit? That clocks out at about speed rank 17, 250K miles per hour. But of course, I have no idea if air resistance actually scales like that.
So yeah, those of you who are good at physics, what would you think?
I encourage that you avoid spending too much time on this... Just figuring out this much took me literally hours, and of course there's thousands of factors that I had to choose to ignore.
Speedsters in orbit. the things this game makes me think about, man. Crazy.
