Is paperback and softercover are just the same?, im new to collecting manga so i have no idea, and i have the paperback one with the mark of viz media does that mean its the official manga?
I mostly use the Moleskine expanded softcover journal because softcovers are all that fit in my leather cover, but was looking to see if there was anything else out there? Other brands? I love Leuchtturm1917 but theirs don't have as many pages as I want.
What do you guys use? I'm looking for something with about as many pages as the Moleskine expanded.
I started by creating one copy of each of my books to see which were popular and now I've moved on to making some versions with different covers or trim sizes. I was wondering what the best practice is to upload these variations. Ideally I'd like to link these books to keep it clean and display the cover options on one page.
Do I upload them as individual books with the same name but different subtitles? Same name and same subtitle? Part of a series? I've been searching but every link I find is about linking paperbacks with hardcovers and ebooks, but I'm trying to link various softcovers. Anybody know how to do this?
I just got 4 awesome softcover (not quite paperback) books for Christmas. Is there a safe way to read it so I don’t hurt the beautiful covers? Am I being too picky?

The author goes by Qntm and they have all their books online for free. I’m a big SCP fan, so I think I’ve read There is no Antimemetics Division 3-4 times now.
Qntm really struggles with giving a story a solid ending, but the wacky sci-fi subject matter is something hard to find.

Amazon, which I forget at times DOESN'T have everything (their manipulative search is inexcusable crap anyway), and boutique stores, which I'd be happy to patronize, don't seem to have the titular journal. I had one, once, except that it was ruled, then I moved to graph, and evolved to dotted. I can't find them anywhere but am considering Alibaba next.

I'm working on getting set up for my 2022 journal and was wondering if anyone had any good alternatives for the Leuchtturm1917 B5 notebooks (dotted, softcover)? They've been my go-to for the past three years but I've noticed they've bled through just a bit more than I would like with my recent spreads.
I know they recently rolled out 120gm paper but only for the A5 size (I need the bigger B5) and places like Archer and Olive seem to have everything I'm looking for except the softcover which I prefer.
If anyone has suggestions or ones they've used, I'd really appreciate it!
I keep trying to check out but don't see a way to subscribe to the cheaper soft cover books. Also, do I need to have the book from March in my cart too?

i recently bought some dover books on physics and mathematics and all of them close like 1 sec after I open them. I usually have to apply a lot of pressure so the binding of the book is kind of bent so it doesnt happen again but my book isnt in the best state anymore. how can you even study these books without having to apply constant pressure? anyone else having the same frustration?

still waiting on that Paperback version of White Sands volume 3. The other volumes seem to have been released as Paperbacks roughly 1,5 years after the original Hardcover release - by that count the Paperback for the third one should have dropped in Spring 2021. Anybody have any info on this?
I have a bespoke Leather cover for my notebook, which is sized to house a Moleskine Large (which is roughly A5). After getting into fountain pens and finding a lot of bleed through, I would like to switch the paper brand, but not the cover. Which notebook would be a likely good fit? I understand I can only ultimately confirm the fit myself, but some pointers on which ones to try would be great!
Hello, this is my first time posting in this sub. I hope this hasn't been asked recently and I'm too dumb to see it.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend some affordable softcover a5 journals. I normally use hardcover exceed journals from walmart or the artist loft hardcover journal from micheals (both are around 11 dollars).
These are both 100gm paper and very good with my fountian pen inks. I heard moleskine and leuchtturm have good softcover ones, but they are expensive.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what softcover ones this size and in this price range that work well with fountain pens?

Edit: any journals that are slightly thicker (70 - 96 sheets or so) would be preferred as well if you know of any.

would you also need to format the book differently versus e-book? So if I wanted to have both e-book and the soft cover would I need two different formats?

I have the hardcover in excellent condition. I was wondering if anyone had the softcover they'd be willing to trade straight up for my hardcover. I'm ocd...all the rest of my Moon Knight tpbs are softcover and it just breaks up my collection.
I like the look of hardcover books but hate how the spine sticks out and how there're deep indentions where the spine meets the cover flaps. Softcover books don't have this problem. Can they be made without this.
