Sketchbook Puns

I was showing my dad a page from my sketchbook. "Dick Cheney made money off the Iraqi war" was written next to the drawing.

Dad: "How did Dick Cheney make money off the Iraqi war?"

Me: "I don't know, it's a meme."

Dad: "Well, it's a very meme thing to say!"

So I was sitting on a couch and my dad was about to leave to store.

Me: Dad, can you buy me a sketchbook?

Dad: What kind of sketchbook?

Me: I would prefer an empty one.

.

I didn't think it was very funny but he laughed outloud. He doesn't do that often.
