A list of puns related to "Sliotar"
Hi I was wondering if anyone knew would the new yellow sliotars be used at club level for matches and training, specifically at minor.
Hi I was wondering if anyone knew if the lar Corbett sliotars are gaa approved as it is only β¬30 for a dozen.
I find that hitting my match sliotars against a wall utterly destroys and warps them, and they will no longer fly well over long distances. Are my sliotars just shit, or are you supposed to use exclusively wall sliotars? I have a wall ball, but it's far too bouncy to be used practically at close distances. Thanks
Well lads, whereβs a good, reasonably priced place to get a load of hurling balls
I got a very light sliotar from a club that was close to me (I was told it was a match sliotar) a little while back. I went to play for a different club and the sliotars they gave to me for use were a lot heavier and it messed with my timing and practice. So, I want to ask, how heavy should a sliotar be? and where should I get one?
Trying to get better at hurling over quarantine and want to improve just hitting the sliotar off my bad side in general eg. Passing and scoring from a short distance
*person of transgender hits a sliotar with a hurl is what I meant
Got a good deal on a few of these but I don't know if they're any good. Doesn't appear to have the official mark on either.
I've noticed a fairly broad range in pronunciation/accent on the word 'sliotar':
...and so on.
Would anyone mind listing the way you pronounce it, and what county or province you're from.
Thanks, from a curious American.
Hello all,
Are there any good substitutes for an official GAA sliotar? A good sliotar can cost about 10 dollars (USD). If I want to practice with my friends are their any better/cheaper substitutes like tennis balls or practice sliotars? Or should everyone just buy and bring their own sliotar(s) to practice?
Does anyone know if the new yellow sliotars will be used in club games?
