Did Dannie pay $1,000 for silk stockings with no provenance? To a kid who found them at a garage sale for $20 and she just offered up $1,000 without even asking for a price first?? Really??
When I was in high school we read "Death of a Salesman" and it was a big deal in the book that the main character was buying his mistress silk stockings but his wife was mending hers. I thought it was just a thing in the book but I was recently talking to someone in their 90s and she was telling me about a trendy clothing store you could buy things at, and one of the things she mentioned was silk stockings. Why were they such a big deal? I'm sure I'm missing something.
I've been replacing my horrible temperature-meddling synthetic clothes with natural fibers one piece at a time. Seems to have cut down on the extreme swings, or at least made them more bearable.
My pink wool socks are lovely hidden under ankle boots. One of these days I want to wear a skirt. I tried no socks, as is the fashion, but it's uncomfortable and sweaty.
Do you have a recommendation on dysautonomic-worthy business-appropriate pantyhose, or some other solutions?
Does anyone have any good suggestion for very sadly discontinued SILK STOCKINGS Solid Body Tint Bar? So sad it is gone and summer is here! HELP! I loved how it doesn't stain your skin, like self tanners, and it just washes off but gives your shoulders and collar bone a shimmery glow for the day. I must not be the only one that misses this?!?
