I'll preface by saying that I'm not sure I'm describing this properly. After a scramble I ended up putting my opponent in the saddle position. I was on his right side. I'm a WB. Heel hooks are off limits in our gym for us and the position is pretty unfamiliar to me anyway.
My opponent was driving his upper body towards me. My left leg was over his right leg, well above the knee. I collected his lower right leg with my right forearm and ran my left arm over his right leg and locked up a kimura grip on his lower leg. I torqued his lower right leg towards his torso as I pivoted my left knee to the mat. This flattened him out on his back. I let go of my leg triangle on his right leg and the kimura grip on his lower leg as I did this and did basically a knee slide with my right leg into top side control.
I was actually surprised this worked. Since it worked for me once, I'll probably go to it again if I end up in saddle unless I know better.
Is this a legitimate technique or do I get lucky this one time?
I really like the aesthetics of she'll holders on the flat side of the shotgun receiver, or on the butt stock. Are there any in game or mods for it?

Ok so one thing that I absolutely love seeing on shotguns is a side-saddle, and I'm really disappointed there aren't any in the base game besides the ones on the tactical spas-12 and hammerless 520 short. I personally have never created a mod for h3vr, but if someone else could make this, or could point me towards resources for making my own, I would be super appreciative.
In terms of how it would work, I think it would be really easy to attach it to a rail on a shotgun, or possibly even make a new attachment point for all tube-fed shotguns. I just think it would be a really cool idea, it would look sick and possibly save quickbelt spots for limited ammo tnh!
