Hi all, I remember reading somewhere that once embryos make it to day 3, the outcome from then on (of whether make to good graded blast or not) has mostly to do with the semen quality. Does anyone have more info/scientific studies etc to back this up? If there is some truth to it, does that mean in theory that if someone uses a good quality donor semen, they should have a lower drop off rate on average from day 3 to day 5 than a general population (that is using varying quality of semen?)

Went around 40 days of no fap quite easily to be honest, this is my 3rd time doing no fap and today I relapsed just to see if my semen is more thicker and less transparent. I know one cannot correlate how semen looks to sperm quality. But I was wondering if there were sometimes some connections.
I have severe oligo-astenospermia and, when I was diagnosed, I noticed that my sperm looked yellowish and very clear overall (not transparent but you get the point). Had a grade 3 varicocele embolization 2 months ago and now, it seems like the looks of semen has changed. It is dense white, as it should normally be I guess.
May it indicate an improvement in sperm parameters? I know only a spermogram can answer this question, and I know chances of improvement are small in my case, but I was wondering if some of you guys already experienced the same.

It's just my hypothesis. Though, I think there is something in it. Personally, I find fat-rich foods, like sunflower seeds are quite useful, because they have enough lecithin for the brain. And I feel good later after it. Something like that.
