Visiting North Yorkshire Coast for a week (Staithes, Whitby, Scarborough area). Any recommendations on where to go and things to do?
First time visiting this part of the country. Going with our 12 year old daughter who's a big fan of "All at Sea". We plan to visit the above places but is there anything we should not miss, or things we should do while there? Our dog is also coming with us.

#GEXVI [North Yorkshire] eBico speaks to local voters at a fish and chip shop in Scarborough about the Progressive Workers plan for the fishing industry and coastal towns.
We all know how vital fishing is to our nationβs industry, for godβs sake weβre an island after all and dishes involving fish make up a huge part of not just our national foodstuff, but also a part of our national identity, and the way fishery workers can be treated by governments and NGOs is often abhorrent, with the large fishing businesses paying little, forcing father and son ventures to toe their line, and pinning their own abuses and mistreatment of the environment on the people they have working for them and they set quotas for. Letβs be frank, itβs one of the few industries which sees its workers attacked from both sides as not only do their employers not have an incentive to support them properly, but because of their employerβs willingness to sell them out, they are facing attacks from ecological groups who often fail to understand that the issue is rarely with those who work the boats, but those who run the companies.
The Progressive Workers Party has already committed itself to a greater protection of workersβ rights through a strengthening of Labour Unions, stricter safety requirements to protect our fishermen when them out on the ocean and minimum levels of compensation for certain work-related accidents to guarantee that you receive the support you need in a worst case. On top of that, we want to have scaling restrictions with the size of company, incentivising local fishermen to be, well local fishermen, and to be able to compete better with the large corporations who so often are the ones who will cut corners to maximise profits. We have seen time and time again that local, small scale businesses are the ones with a vested interested in ensuring greater environmental protection, whilst big companies care little, as such, we want to put the boot into them and ensure that the ordinary worker, and the ordinary small businessman and woman are given the support from the government they need and deserve.
The Progressive Workers Party is a party that promises a national living wage for all people which ensures they can meet their daily needs and live a fulfilling life as well as improving access to transport of goods and persons and takes advantage of our newfound freedom with Brexit to expand the fishing grounds for British fishermen. The Tories have shown time and time again that they care only about apple pie motions, outlawing pulse fishing but no other harmful fishing techniques or indeed forcing companies that fish off our shores to be ac
