I'm thinking about people who take part in Facebook quizzes and personality tests, who share unfounded and misleading articles - but also, sanctimoniously, share memes promoting the likes of Snopes and warnings about phishing posts. Basically, they are sharing almost anything without thinking it through, the good and the bad, with no self awareness. It doesn't have to be specifically for social media contexts. I'd love a long juicy word for it!
#1: Scheana has been sloppy in love but I just do not see her standing for any type of abuse. She divorced Shay for his betrayal and mental abuse. That demonstrates that she can and will make difficult choices when it’s clearly the right thing to do. Lala acting like she’s afraid that Brock is violent and is just worried for her friend is just such bullshit.
Most of this cast has “slapped their partner”, backhanded someone, gotten into a bar or parking lot fight, etc. But, not Scheana or anyone she’s been involved with.
Now violence is generally always trashy, fucked up, and wrong. But this cast has acted like it’s just “business as usual” for the entire series.
Acting like Bravo is fucked up for having Brock on this show is hypocritical as it gets.
We’ve supported violence by these people since season 1.

I know majority will just comment about how Damons worse (which I don't see as an argument, saying someone is worse doesn't negate the bad about another person) so I know this will be a deeply unpopular opinion but God when I'm watching it I'm having to stop every 2 minutes to shout at the TV.
My reasonings;
- him being a "ripper" is inconsistent story telling at best and at worst just an easy flaw for him to fall back on. He seemingly can control how much blood he has at different points through out then other times apparently can't get enough yet still is able to display a level of control. Additionally, his sadistic tendencies during his Ripper periods have nothing to do with him being a Ripper, its just the repressed psychopath inside of him that he fights against
- elena starts making points (I think s3) how Stefan always let her make her decisions and respected them..seriously..that's bullshit. He went mad at her about her decision/deal she made with Elijah. Guilt tripping her, yelling at her over it. Like, if that's not disrespecting her decision I don't know what is.
- killing Andie, Damon newsreporter gf. (And Damon kept that quiet)
- trying to drive Elena off Wickery Bridge was a dick move. That was forgiven waayyyy too easily
- when he "turned his switch back on" he went right back to constantly believing he was better than Damon. When that guy was murdered, Elena asked him if he did it and says how she has no idea what he's capable of anymore.. and his response "did you ask Damon?" Like..dude she's asking you because you've been a murderous lunatic and recently tried to drive off the bridge her parents died with her in the car with you.. but yea sure..make sure to try manipulate her thinking that Damons bad here and not you 🙄. The very Damon that has been protecting her for months for you!
- his constant belief he's better than Damon is tiring. Just because he's always telling people oh I'm so sorry about what i did..he's always trying to make out Damon is soo much worse than he is. Literally, so soon after his murderous summer he's right back to that belief
- he's extraordinarily manipulative. He does it with Elena and her feelings but also with other people. The way he portrays this "I'm the good brother" facade to people makes it easier for people to forgive his bad side. He literally relies on that facade constantly whilst no one calls him out on his bad shit

He is one of my least favourite characters. I get wanting to be self sufficient everything but the whole temper tantrum of calling off his relationships every time he was reminded he wasn’t upper East side royalty or rich was really annoying. He treated his teens like five year olds. The only time I didn’t get annoyed with the BS was when he found out his barely legal son was banging a grown woman and a teacher. There is such a laundry list of BS this infantile butthole does that are just… borderline terrible parent. No wonder they act out.
