A list of puns related to "Sampling Frame"
I'm trying to migrate a project out of fcpx and into resolve but Iβm having audio drift issues once I'm in Resolve.
Hereβs what i believe is going on. In finalcut the project framerate is set to 23.98 but all of the video in the timeline is actually 24fps. I believe no one picked up on this because finalcut does some kind of auto interpolation of footage you import that is different from the project framerate to make it play back smoothly.(See: rate conform/frame sampling) However when i export out an xml from finalcut and bring the project into resolve that frame sampling is gone and iβm left with a timeline thatβs locked into a framerate of 23.98 and source footage that is actually 24fps which causes the audio to start drifting immediately.
My first question is, does my logic make sense or could there be something else going on?
And secondly, if i have correctly diagnosed the problem....what can i do about it?
So far i've attempted to make a copy of the fcpx project and then change the framerate (which i've read can break the whole edit) but while there is a drop down box in fcpx to modify the project framerate, the only option that shows up is 23.98.
I've also attempted to change the framerate of the footage within resolve via "clip attributes" but that only seems to make things worse.
any advice or thoughts is much appreciated.
I have to ensure a representative sample from a survey in a conflict zone without a sampling frame. Is this possible to do so? Any input on this would be really appreciated!
Data collection! Question about sampling frame
Hi guys, so Iβm conducting a survey with the objective is to know how people feel about CBD is applied to foods and healthcare industry. cBD is a compound found in cannabis plant which is scientifically proven to help reduce anxiety.
My chosen population: students at my university
Sampling frame: students who have heard about the term CBD or used to use CBD product before
My question is that, even though my target population is student at university but my sampling frame is specific subset. I felt my sampling frame is unobtainable since itβs impossible to get a list of students who have heard or used CBD before. So what is the more appropriate alternative Sampling frame?
Thank you!
It would be great to see a measurement of different experiences such as Vader immortal, and super hot. and watch the framerate change over time. I'm pretty on the fence about supersampling atm and I think a video like that would be super helpful

Any suggestions or recommendations? I'm trying to research the immunological affects of eating and it's functional changes in immune function.
I honestly don't know how to ask the question except by describing the situation.
Assume I have 1,000 numbers randomly selected from a normal distribution. Assume a median (mean?) of 10,000, lower limit of 0, upper limit of 20,000
Now... Assume I RANDOMLY select 100 numbers from the above sample of 1000 numbers.
Here's the question. What are the chances that the highest number in my sample of 100 is in the top 5% of the larger sample.
I am certain I need more info on the normal distrubution... The Stdv?
Why the interest? It's a real world problem. I advertise for a job. I receive 1,000 resumes. I don't have time to examine all of them in detail. I DO have time to examine 100 of them. What do I lose if I select 100 at random to examine?
I'm creating an animation at the moment. In certain scenes there are large portions (black regions) of the render that can be accurately rendering with only 5-10 samples, while others require 1000s to look realistic.
To cut down render time, is is possible to make cycles only render portions of each frame to a higher sample number while maintaining a low number for others?
