A list of puns related to "Sabal"
I was so dang excited for today's session. I had Mwaxanare's love interest lined up, a character was gonna be received as a spiritual vessel for their tabaxi totem, I had all the roleplay encounters lined up, great.
Then came combat. "The attacking force consists of ten gargoyles." Wicked.
So naturally I brought up the stat block for four armed gargoyles. CR10 monsters. Did I bother to check the CR to ensure the combat was balanced? Nope. Did I stop to think after the monk dropped to zero in the first round of combat after being dealt four claw attacks? Nuh-uh. What about when the first gargoyle took it's first hit and only whittled off 10 of its one hundred and fourty-seven hit points? Hah.
The monk used his inspiration to roll his first death save twice. One and one. Ugh.
His second roll; 11. For his final roll I gave him advantage since his "death's door" roleplay was pretty neat. Three and four. And that was it.
It wasn't until after the session that I realised my mistake. Thankfully the player took it well and already has a new character ready to go but man was that rough and unfair. It's not often I look back on a session and think I messed up real bad but that was one for the record books today.
I'm a pretty new to Far Cry. I've been on a marathon lately by playing FC6, FC5, New Dawn, and FC4. I honestly think siding with Sabal was the right choice and I have no regrets in doing so. I supported him by doing all of his missions. When I was asked to kill Amita I didn't kill her due to Amita still being a member of the Golden Path. That being said, Sabal isn't perfect by any means but he's still way better than Amita. Amita planned to turn Kyrat into a drug state and she had the makings of a tyrant. She wanted to force children to farm opium and fight for the Golden Path. If their families refused, she would kill them.
Amita isn't too different from Anton Castillo. Anton forcefully recruits people to farm Viviro and he makes his soldiers kill those who refuse to do so. Amita is practically the same as him. Despite his flaws, I don't see Sabal murdering innocents, producing drugs, or threatening innocent people with death.
I also killed Pagan in the end. Kyrat was obviously suffering under his rule and it was clear that he was a tyrant despite his friendly nature. I shot Pagan while we were at the dinner table. I remember how he just casually murdered one of his own men in the opening scene and I felt that he was too dangerous to be kept alive. I didn't wanna mess around and take any chances with him.
So yeah, those were the decisions I made during my first playthrough of FC4.
Trachycarpus Fortunei also known as The Windmill Palm is way more hardy in your area and it gets just as tall and looks just as beautiful. π΄ stop killing plants. Those Sabal palmetto palm trees are worth hundreds of dollars per foot of trunk! It's a waste of taxpayer dollars. Just plant some Windmill Palm Trees already.
I am facing hairloss at 26 age. I am much worried and feeling low confidence due to this. My homeopathy doctor has advised me to use Sabal Serrulata 30. - 10 drops in a cup of water.
But wherever I read on internet, people have not responded well to homeopathy for hairloss treatment. So I am skeptical.
If anyone has found success in treating hairloss MPB, please tell.
They sound menacing ngl except Bhadra, she deserved a better future
Does anyone here have experience with the Aireloom Sabal? I'm considering purchasing one from a local mattress store and can't find much information on it. Are there any online mattresses that have a similar construction/feel that are worth considering?
think about it Sabal is a crazy religious fanatic and amita is a fucking warlord Pagan is honestly the fairest ruler of them all
Far Cry 4 Pagan Campaign easy peasy?
It seems like he disagrees with Amita just for the sake of disagreeing with her. He always says that we shouldn't do things her way, but never offers an alternative solution. Like the dude has no plan for Kyrat's future other than holding on to outdated traditions. His only rationale behind why I should do anything is because "That's what your father would have done." Amita definitely has questionable morals, but at least she has a plan. Sabal just does things because that's the way they've always been done, which is probably the most idiotic reason for doing anything.
I just need to post my thoughts. They are possibly the worst ally/moral choice type characters I have ever met, they are both so spiteful of each other and terribly designed character wise. Amita is whiny and projecting, while sabal is manipulative and thinks he can speak for the Mohan? Not that mohan was good either. You have no idea how badly I wanted Ajay to just put them in their place and say βyou know what? Nah Iβm taking charge during this.β I bet heβs the protagonist but I hate when these 2 do absolutely NOTHING for the resistance. Atleast pagan had charisma..
According to local news, dozens of deputies arrived at Sabal Club apartments are are canvassing the wooded area themselves. (around 1 pm Eastern time). Earlier they had brought in dogs to try to pick up her scent.
My seedling is about a year old and the main growth point has stopped growing with brown/black tips. The new growth from the second 'node' I guess... seems healthy but I wonder if it will eventually die. Question is.. Should I get rid of the main node now? Is it taking/adding to the seedling at all? Also what is this called, I've looked around and couldn't find a term this. Thanks!
As much as hated to, I picked Amita as Golden Path leader, because Sabal is just unable think beyond the past and has absolutely no vision for Kyrat's future, nor plan to sustain the country. He's a fucking idiot who uses religion and superstition as manipulation tools, a misogynist and also, did I mention he's a fucking idiot? However, I still couldn't bring myself to kill him, because he did save my life after all. I let Pagan live because even though he's a total psychopath, he's the only person in the game who even offered to help me fulfill my mother's last wish and didn't expect me to jump through hoops like Amita did. Also turns out he's no more of a piece of shit than my father was or Amita and Sabal are. Now, the big question is this: Can I kill Amita? That bitch needs to die. I only picked her because she's not Sabal, but now that he's out of the way, the people of Kyrat don't need that evil cunt either. Please tell me there's a way to snuff her out like I did De Pleur.
UPDATE: well I just learned a lot. I took the palm back to the nursery where I bought it (Raintree Gardens in Silverton), and a nice gentleman basically potted it up for me, and taught me how and what to avoid with soil options, which has brought my baseline anxiety about repotting/potting up from a 9 down to like a 2. He loved using the home soil for the sabal and combined it with a palm mixture they use at the nursery. He basically taught me how to take care of it, and advised me not to βworryβ it. It will grow here in the PNW, he feels sure. So Iβm going to give it lots of good vibes, occasionally water it with rain, put it in my little greenhouse if it gets too cold out, and basically chill with worrying about it. Her. She has seeds, too. Yay! Expert advice is the best! ββββ
I am not great at gardening (yet!), and the scariest thing to me is re-potting, as I have not have good luck/technique with it and have killed plants before by potting too tight and watering-in too much, etc., so I am really hoping a palm expert can give me a hand with planting it in a new container.
I was surprised to find it here at a small garden center focused on palms and other tropical plants, as I have been told in the past that itβs a foolβs errand to try and grow one here. Itβs most likely root bound and Iβm worried about cutting into the roots. I want it to live, as it is the palm of my home land and in my opinion itβs the most beautiful of them all.
I am almost done building a small greenhouse for it, but Iβm a renter, so it needs to go in a container for now. I have a terracotta planter thatβs bigger than the 3 gallon pot from the nursery, but not huge. I also convinced my mom to send me several pounds of soil from back home because the soil there is so different than the type I see here or in potting mix, even cactus and succulent mixβ itβs very sandy. So my idea is to mix that soil in with the rest of whatever other soil I pot it in.
Iβm breaking down and asking Reddit because itβs getting colder and I havenβt gotten any less anxious about this. May I bring this palm to you for help repotting? I also have a pretty big variety of soil I can bring with me. Thanks for reading!
On one hand Sabal stands for a lot of things I'm against like his traditionalism but Amita is too far the other way she has no respect for their culture what so ever. Amita would make for a worse leader but how I get sabal to leader feels like I'd be fucking over the girl. I'm mostly asking because in games I don't always pick the decisions I really want.
