What is the difference? I'm looking at the Polvo's menu, so any specific responses on theirs would be great, but if not.... any insights?

I’m so sad Linda’s Restaurant is closed (been closed since the pandemic, I think). Been hoping they’d open again but I understand it’s a rough time for small businesses and restaurants. Linda’s was my go to spot for caldo de res… anyone have recommendations for other restaurants that do this dish well? Thanks.

I've only ever seen 'caldo' used in reference to warm soups, and it's a cognate of 'cálido', but the DLE doesn't say anything about temperature and neither does wiktionary. I haven't been able to find any recipes for 'caldos fríos' but I have found plenty for 'caldos para el frío'. So, native speakers, ¿jamás usarían la palabra 'caldo' para hacer referencia a una sopa fría?
