What is the difference? I'm looking at the Polvo's menu, so any specific responses on theirs would be great, but if not.... any insights?
Nothing hurts like a January in Chicago, and nothing eases that pain like a good Caldo. I'll also happily take your Pozole recommendations for when the weather breaks.

Iβm so sad Lindaβs Restaurant is closed (been closed since the pandemic, I think). Been hoping theyβd open again but I understand itβs a rough time for small businesses and restaurants. Lindaβs was my go to spot for caldo de resβ¦ anyone have recommendations for other restaurants that do this dish well? Thanks.
I've only ever seen 'caldo' used in reference to warm soups, and it's a cognate of 'cΓ‘lido', but the DLE doesn't say anything about temperature and neither does wiktionary. I haven't been able to find any recipes for 'caldos frΓos' but I have found plenty for 'caldos para el frΓo'. So, native speakers, ΒΏjamΓ‘s usarΓan la palabra 'caldo' para hacer referencia a una sopa frΓa?
