A list of puns related to "Rubber Boots"
Lmk if you had this experience not one to complain about lot or atleast in my eyes lol
Would you ever wear rubber-soled boots to a traditional office setting? Or always the leather-soled to make it dressier?
Does anyone one know if any one sells the oem or aftermarket rubber boot/cover that mounts under the console and over the shifter mounting plate for a 2010 srt8 with 6 speed. Changed the shift linkage and the cover was extremely brittle.
As the title says, Iโm obviously a woman living in Canada (southern ON) looking for winter boots for work. Iโm working in Outdoor ed so Iโm spending the majority of my day working outside with kids. I have excellent snow boots and hiking boots but Iโm looking for some true waterproof (rubber rain boot style) boots that will keep my feet dry and warm while Iโm stomping around in the mud with kids on days that itโs hovering around 0. During some activities Iโll be fairly stationary for upwards of an hour and spend on average 4-5 hours outside every day. Preferably I want a boot that will keep my toes warm in temps down to -30 or lower so I have the option of wearing them in colder weather. Iโve looked at Bogs and Muck boots but I just really want to be sure theyโre going to be warm before I spend the money!! I donโt really have a budget as having consistently warm feet is worth any amount of money to me LOL
Work concrete forming in canada all year round. Wear my Dunlop rubbers in the winter but my feet sweat and then get cold. What do you do to stop this?
I need recommendations on steel toe rubber boots
I work construction, constantly walking through mud pits or over rebar. Cheap boots are out of the question. I am ready to pay for QUALITY!
What brands do you recommend that are tough, donโt rip easy, comfortable, etc.
So far the Dunlopโs and helly hansen are in the top of my list, but those are the only ones I see on site minus the cheap ass ones. Looking for more recommendations from people with experience that wear and use them a lot!
Thanks
Hey all. Just unpacked my bean boots (Uninsulated in case it matters) and they are a hair tight - width wise. Does the rubber boot stretch at all during break in or is this the fit Iโll get?
As in, should I break them in or replace for wide size.
Thanks.
Hey yaโll, Iโm struggling to find rain boots that wonโt crack open after a year.
The last pair I got were Hunter boots and I thought they would be more reliable, but itโs been a year and they have SO many cracks.
(I think the wide-ness of my feet are contributing to the cracking by putting stress on the rubber)
Iโve also tried the โlemon jellyโ boots but they cracked after a year, too.
I like black ankle boots - any suggestions?
Edit: I work from home so I just need something cute that will last a couple years doing city activities, haha :)
Also for those telling me I need to take care of my boots, bless your hearts, but thatโs not the type advice your girl is after. Xo โค๏ธ
Thanks! โค๏ธ
So I'm trying to making a rubber boot for my driveshaft, how do I design something in a certain shape then fit it onto the model with it bent? Like is soft rubber modelled somehow?
Sample pic of a boot included for clarity
It was a dark and stormy night and the captain came in with his rubber boots on. He said: โKids I want to tell you a story!โโฆ It was a dark and stormy night and the captain came in with his rubber boots on. He said: Kid-suddenly the librarianโs voice interrupts over the loud speaker: โDue to a severe case of Alzheimerโs story time with Captain Smith will be postponed indefinitely!โ
Hi everyone!
Iโve worked on the production side of a brewery for about a year. I have wide feet - have always worn menโs size 10 or 11 wide casual shoes. My first pair of boots were too small and screwed up my toes. My second pair were properly wide, but being leather they did not last long. My current pair is a rubber boot that is two sizes bigger, and Iโve been wearing double socks so they arenโt that floppy, but are breaking at the creases and letting water in since they bend weird for my smaller feet.
TLDR - I have been unable to find a rubber pair of composite toe safety boots that fit menโs wide feet. Is there some secret store or website someone can point me to? Thanks.
Hey, so my (24) mom some months ago to just buy me rubber boots on sale, that I neither wanted, needed or asked for. For a reference, I don' wear rubber boots, and havent since somewhere between primary school (12-13 years old) and junior high school (13-15 years old) when we had to cut them apart because said we had to wear them to a trip. I still dont like or want any rubber boots - only acceptable if they have a cute pattern! And still then, it's a maybe. And to this they, I still dread rubber boot shopping to the point where even the thought of it makes me exhausted.
School recommended we have "clothes for the weather" with us to practical training, meaning rainwear/rubber boots, and I swiftly told her the above, and that I'd rather wear my trustworthy dr. Martens that keeps me both dry and comfortable.โธ
After she got home with them, I told her I'm not interested in them, and probably wont wear them anytime soon. And that I dont want short ones, if I'm gonna have rubber boots, they need to be long to suit the situations I need them for (if I can find ones that fit my shins).
Her reasining for buying them, "you said you needed them", which I never said. She kept pushing me to accept them, cause I'll use them sometime, and I stopped answering, because she wouldn't accept my no and the reasoning for it. And she still does.
Shes been nagging about them ever since, stating that if I just tried them and didt like them, she could have traded them in, but they're so comfortable for rubber boots. Well, stores dont do take in on sale products, and if they did she could have traded them after my first "not interested". I dont have to try them to know they fit they're my size and shorter than standard boots that fit me well. Adding on that, "if you dont want them I'm gonna have to find someone else that will use them", and to "just give me an answer". I cant say no, without her saying shes hurt because she bought them to be nice, and I should just accept them and be grateful. And I cant say yes, because they'll just end up rotting in a closet somewhere since I'll never use them. Or I'm gonna end up selling them after some years of them clogging up space.
This puts me in an impossible and awkward situations, where I'm painted as the bad guy whatever I answer, so I'd rather not answer. So, AITA?
This feels like a silly question, but I haven't owned actual boots in at least twenty years. I bought some winter boots, made of fairly sturdy rubber, with inner lining. I just took them for their maiden voyage as I walked to the swimming pool. But somehow the hems of my socks gradually travelled downwards as I walked, until they were resting beneath my heels. I suddenly remember this being a thing when I was a kid. What causes this, and how do I stop it?
Another, possibly even sillier question: Walking up and down stairs... will I damage the boots over time by bending my ankles properly?
