Differences in Roles/Expectations/Conflict Resolutions (Relationships vs. Marriage)

I've been trying to read more blogs/articles and listening to Podcasts about blended families, navigating the ups and downs of being in a relationship with someone with children. What I have found is most of it is "things to know about dating someone with children" or information geared towards people married to someone with children.

Maybe it's just semantics and verbiage, but it got me curious. I'm in a relationship with SO with kids. We live together. We own a house together. Do expectations/roles/relationships change with a marriage certificate?

EDIT: I don't think my initial post was worded as I meant it to. Was definitely not supposed to come across as a "will things get better if we get married." More like a general discussion of:

- When did you feel like a "step parent?" When did you feel it was okay to take some control over your own household? - Why are most resources geared toward blended families with marriage as opposed to cohabitating, long term relationships?

Light Fighter Pilots - What is my Role in Bigger Conflicts

So, I'm pretty certain when it comes to Org conflicts I want my role to be that of a light fighter pilot.

I'm a serviceable pilot, at the moment. When I dogfight in AC, I get smashed pretty good but I do manage a few kills. As a newer pilot, I feel that's pretty satisfactory considering it seems like most of the AC pilots are veterans.

I'm currently participating in an org JT event and we are up against another org. Our communication is a little scattered for many understandable reasons, so I'm kind of on my own.

The question is how am I most useful? When there were enemy gladiuseseses and a 325 I tried to focus them. But when the targets were all redeemers and hammerheads, I was basically useless. When I got focused by the hammerhead I got melted.

Thoughts?

In 1982,NCERT gave instructions to greenwash history to promote "social cohesion".For medieval history, recommendations that Muslim rulers not β€˜foreigners’, β€˜no exaggeration of role of religion in political conflicts is permitted’.Sita Ram Goel wrote book "Islamic Imperialism in India" in response.

From this article:

https://pragyata.com/the-story-of-islamic-imperialism-in-india-part-1/

In 1982, the NCERT, under instructions from the Ministry of Education, passed guidelines to revise history textbooks radically. This was to promote social cohesion and national integration. Some like abandoning reference of ancient, medieval, and modern history as Hindu, Muslim, and British periods respectively or dropping β€˜Aryan’ as a racial category are good. Surprisingly, the guidelines continue with the Aryan invasion theory.

The rest of the recommendations are with the twin purpose of decimating Hindu heritage and whitewashing Islamic destruction. There is a warning against the use of myths as history aiming at the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, and the entire corpus of Purana literature. These represent the crux of Indian civilization and represent the strongest points to unite the country into a single Bharatvarsha. Another recommendation is to forbid over-glorification of the country’s past. Specifically, the Gupta Age can no longer be the β€˜golden period of Hinduism’, a period where Hindu spirituality, art, literature, science, and philosophy attained a peak.

For medieval history, a recommendation that Muslim rulers are not β€˜foreigners’ except for β€˜early invaders who did not settle here’ opens a pandora’s box of contradictions. The earliest Muslim invaders were the Arabs occupying Sindh and Multan in the early 8th century. Later, the Turks ousted them, who in the second wave occupied Afghanistan and large areas of Punjab starting 963 CE*. Mohammed Ghuri* in 1186 CE overthrew them and led the third wave of Muslim invaders occupying Haryana and parts of UP by 1194-95 CE. His generals had conquered Bihar, Bengal, and parts of Bundelkhand by the time of his assassination in 1206 CE. Finally, the Shamsi dynasty established at Delhi in 1210 CE followed by other several Muslim dynasties.

1206 or 1210 CE is the decisive time when Muslim rulers settled in Delhi and became β€˜natives’ from foreigners. β€˜Here’ implies only the area of India after the Partition; the present-day Pakistan and Afghanistan become thus β€˜foreign’ lands from the second decade of the 8th century onwards! Eurasian Movement in Europe, and it's role in exacerbating conflicts in Ukraine and elsewhere? How dangerous can their ideologues be, and how can they be dealt with?

Wish to canvas the community regarding issues in Europe, and wished ask if anyone had any familiarity with a movement that could have the most uniquely negative in the conflict

Their ideas come from right wing ideas of Czarist Era thinkers who believed that Russia was a unique civilization must seek means to both control parts of Europe that are seem as part of Russian cultural space ( like the European states of the then Russian empire) but to eventually become the hegemon over its sphere of influence and eventually, over the orthodox World, and Asia. (?)

Their beliefs were held by or disseminated to reactionary movements that operated out of the czar's control ( like many things :-( ) , but after the Soviet revolution some of their thinkers fled abroad , while some of them chose to stay in the Soviet Union in order to see if they could survive the Marxist regime there and contribute to political theories in Soviet Union .

https://www.wilsoncenter.org/publication/russian-eurasianism-ideology-empire ( which has a bit more skeptical a view)

As well as analogies among Turkish nationalist ( which are a thing there ?) circles in turkey, (as this article on the matter details -The Rise of Eurasianism in Turkish Foreign Policy )

How it is involved in this crisis:

Eurasian ideologies directly relate to this crisis due the Eurasianist and "Greater Russian" beliefs of most of these people.

The Novorossiyan rebels and their Russian supporters are open and avowed adherents of old school Russian Eurasianist thinking, as well as neoEurasisnist thinking of modern adherents like Aleksandr Dugin.

Figures from of the proRussian preMaidan government, meanwhile , prolong conflict by variously claiming to be either "the legitimate officers and representatives of lawful government Ukraine", by collaborating with secessionist forces in the conflict, or by lobbying support from all sorts of figures around the world ( diaspora, Christian orthodox figures, and various organized criminals, extremists and kooks from Russia and elsewhere)

Complicating this further however, are Ignored and dangerous marxist connections with these political movements through Russian influence and connections between Marxist, red-brown "nazbols" , farright, and neoeurasianists extremist by way of networking ( and nazbols seeking out these movements)

EU plays play a passive role in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict

On the eve of the 6th Eastern Partnership Summit (scheduled for 15-16 December 2021), the European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar held consultations with the leadership of Armenia in Yerevan and the leadership of Azerbaijan in Baku.

The issues of developing cooperation between the two countries with the EU and problems of regional importance were considered. Toivo Klaar indirectly touched upon aspects of the current tension on the line of contact between the Armed Forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The specific agenda of upcoming Armenian-Azerbaijani talks in Brussels has not yet been made public. Of course, we can assume that the topics mentioned above will be the subject of discussion at the Eastern Partnership Summit.

France and Greece call on the European Parliament to use all its leverage to stop the violation of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia by Azerbaijan. In turn, dozens of MEPs, stating the fact of Azerbaijan's military aggression against Armenia, demand the return of Armenian prisoners of war and civilians. Nevertheless, MEPs use common phrases about the need to build confidence.

In his speech at the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum European Council President Charles Michel called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to engage in political dialogue that could lead to a sustainable settlement.

"Protracted conflicts in the region remain a fundamental problem. They demand renewed efforts in accordance with the principles and norms of international law. The EU stands ready to play its role in conflict prevention and resolution. This includes building confidence and promoting a lasting and comprehensive settlement, including support for post-conflict reconstruction measures," Charles Michel claimed.

The Director for Russia, Eastern partnership, Central Asia and OSCE at the European External Action Service (EEAS) of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs Luc Devigne noted: "The EU is doing what it can and is considering doing more." He also said that the European Union is discussing with Russia the settlement between Yerevan and Baku and hopes that "the Russian side can state that we are doing this in the interests of peace, and not for any other reasons." In accordance with the statement of the Director of the EU Foreign Service, Brussels touches upon the problems of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict in contacts with high-ranking representatives of the Turkish government.
