A list of puns related to "Recovery Truck"
My buddy was out delivering in a rural route and got hung up in some mud, he called for help and all driver were back to the hub or not available . I randomly text him to see how his day was going and he let me know he was stuck. I drive up to where he was and he was pretty damn stuck. He was in a 10 truck which is the largest package truck in the ups fleet. I honestly wasnβt sure the old 3rd gen could do it but we attached my tow strap to the rear bumper and my rear d ring , I put it in 4hi and once the slack in the strap was gone I gave it some gas. To my surprise, I pulled him right out of the gunk! So impressed! So glad I made the jump from a jeep tj to this a few years back. Thatβs all, just gloating .
Could be much worse!
Like an idiot I ran out of power at about 500m depth, surprised me that there was no warnings....yes I died
So because I am trying not to rush the game, once I had finished the first one the interest was gone, I would like to recover my sea truck. The level 2 depth mod is a pain.
Option 1. Build new sea truck and forget it - no fun
3 build the most simple base at stages - the corridor with door - will it have air without power? If not upto what depth will panels work? Or pump and pipes?
The sea truck is in a cave with a roof.
Any other ideas?
This is Reggie. and (this is me, as recommended).
My 4 year old, 100 lb., German/Australian Shepherd and the bestest boy I've ever known. I've raised him since he was a puppy and he has been with me through the hardest times in my life and all throughout college.
On August 26th, storms hit while I was at work and he broken through the backyard fence and ran away due to his storm anxiety (typically we have a place for him to stay during storms however, the storms were pushed back and I thought I could make it before they hit to bring him in. Thus, giving him the day to be outside.). From 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. me and my family drove around our town calling out for him, and following various leads on apps like Nextdoor.
On August 27th, we received a phone call. At 8 a.m. Reggie had been hit by a large truck who did not stop, the witness was behind said truck and stopped, and Reggie crawled under their vehicle. These kind people stayed with him until animal control and myself arrived to pull him out and take him to the emergency veterinary hospital. Following his examination and x-rays the vet explained he suffered a significant injury to his rear left femur, and by some miracle, did not appear to have any internal organ damage.
The surgery to repair his femur, however, comes with a hefty price.
I graduated college in December and have been job searching ever since. I finally started my job 2 weeks ago, just received my first check, and I did not have much savings. One $662 emergency vet bill, and another emergency vet bill of $458 after seeing him urinate blood following the first checkup, I cannot manage covering the cost of the surgery. I can use methods such as Scratchpay and CareCredit but they will not cover the full cost.
I dislike asking for help but I have been left no choice. So I am asking, if you can, please donate or share. Everything is extremely appreciated and I will be forever indebted to you, I just want my boy healthy and home again.
