I have a powder of 50 mg that has a solubility of 50mg/ml does that mean I need 1 ml to dissolve all of it?
I just went to mix 2ml of bacteria static water into my 5mg of bpc and all the water started shooting out as soon as I stuck in the needle. Did I just ruin my bpc or can I still inject it??
If you have a 5mg bottle of BPC-157 and are going to mix it with Xml of BAC how do you find out how many ml need to be withdrawn to get 250mcg of the peptide? Furthermore how many doses can you get from one bottle?
TL;DR: GME will almost certainly switch from the Russell 2000 to the Russell 1000 Index this month. However, the data indicates it is unlikely to have either a bearish or bullish impact on the share price. Nonetheless, the company is continuing to edge closer to inclusion within the S&P 500 Index later in the year. Due to asset management firms' far higher use of the S&P 500 for their Index ETFs (about 30x more than the Russell 1000), this possible inclusion is much more likely to provide an upward catalyst for the GME share price than the Russell reconstitution.
I originally posted this DD about a month ago. There was not much interest in the Russell Indexes at the time (and it anyway got lost amongst a bunch of memes), so there was not much interest in my DD! However as there has been some movement with this recently, I have seen some posts/DD that appears to be purely speculative and not looking at the data itself. So I am reposting my previous findings once again.
Disclaimer: This is not financial advice. I have shared a number of links in this post, so Apes can do their own research.
WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
There was a post earlier today, regarding GME's impending switch from the Russell 2000 Index to the Russell 1000 Index:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/ntwd1h/gamestop_removed_from_the_russell_microcap_may_be/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
This DD stated this switch could be bullish for the stock, but did not present data specific to GME stock in supporting this assertion. I would like to present some findings specific to GME, which I gathered by going into the ETFs tied to the Russell 1000 and Russell 2000 Indexes.

This was all great until I received the medication. It came in a single box, a vial of 10kIU powder, and a vial of 10ml water.
The package insert says to reconstitute with 10ml of water.
If I follow the package insert instructions. thats a 2cc injection vs my doctors instructions of 0.6cc.
Id much rather be doing 0.6cc.
My question is - does anyone know the max density in suspension of HCG? Is 3ml of water even enough to fully suspend 10,000 IU HCG?
Good evening fellow apes.
Since there seem to be a lot of questions around the Russell 1k-3k Indexes lately, I decided to write up a short overview of what that Russell-thingy actually is and how it works. Keeping it short, simple, and to the point.
Russell Indexes are baskets of the biggest 4000 companies in the US market ranked by market capitalization (= stock price * number of issued stock).
The Russell 1000 contains companies ranked #1 - #1000, Russell 2000 contains companies #1001 - #3000, and so on. There is also a Russell 3000 E ( = Extended) which holds all 4000 companies, as well as several more subsets.
Here is an overview of the Russell Indexes:
Companies can be part of several indexes IF they overlap and fulfill the respective market cap requirements. For example, GME is part of the following Russell Indexes as of 2020:
Russell 1000 | Russell 2000 | Russell 3000 | Russell Midcap | Russell Microcap |
---|---|---|---|---|
No | Yes | Yes | No | Yes |
Every year in May, the FTSE Russel looks at and ranks all eligible US publicly traded companies and rearranges their Indexes. Adding some companies and dumping others. This process is called reconstitution.
The cutoff day for this is called rank day. This year's rank day was May 7th.
Companies have to fulfill certain criteria (Source) on rank day to be considered at all. Such as:
The 4000 biggest companies by market cap will be added to the Russell 3000E and from there distributed to the other indexes, if they meet their respective eligibility criteria. Companies that do not meet the membership criteria anymor

The posting of the preliminary lists of additions and deletions is the first public step in the annual reconstitution process for the Russell US Indexes. This is also the first annual review to be conducted using the ICB framework as the official sector taxonomy. The ICB framework is comprised of 11 industries, 20 supersectors, 45 sectors and 173 subsectors. Migration to the ICB framework is an important step toward a consistent industry classification framework across FTSE Russellโs equity indexes globally.
Further updates to the lists will be posted on the FTSE Russell website after US market close on June 11 and 18. If any changes to the publicly announced membership lists occur during the query period, technical notices will be published to the FTSE Russell website.
The closely-watched final index membership lists, with breakouts for the Russell 1000 Index, the Russell 2000 Index and the Russell Midcap Index, will be published on Monday, June 28 when the Russell Reconstitution takes effect and the newly reconstituted indexes begin to operate.
FTSE Russell uses primary exchange closing prices from NYSE and NASDAQ to complete this year's Russell US Indexes reconstitution. NYSE-listed stocks utilize NYSEโs auction mechanism while NASDAQ-listed stocks utilize NASDAQ's "closing cross" mechanism to execute shares for each stock at a single price on Friday, June 25. FTSE Russell will once again celebrate the close of the annual Russell Reconstitution with Nasdaq officials at a virtual closing bell ceremony.

Hi all,
I know that for years CVS has not allowed techs to mix antibiotics. Someone recently mentioned that there might have been an update in policy allowing Certified/Immunizing techs to help with recon.
Does anyone know if this is true and can you tell me where in the paperwork to look for documentation so I can print it out?
It continues to frustrate me that I can mix and inject Shingrix and Variax and the like but no definitely cant use the FillMaster that lets you scan a barcode.
Thanks
Intro:
Canoo is being added to the Russel 3000 today as apart of their annual reconstitution. As a part of this event, 12 million shares of GOEV will be bought by EOD (most takes place 15 minutes before close). The following week millions more are bought by passive funds that like to track the Russel Indexes.
Short Report:

Short interest has been rising almost everyday the past week, and is likely above 40% right now. They do not want Canoo to go higher than 10, and have borrowing nonstop to do so. And there is more...
https://preview.redd.it/y0k4pj2pef771.png?width=1284&format=png&auto=webp&s=68c6a13730685a7154bcc0c5b7c44e1553decd4a
The borrowing fee spiked to 46% today from 27%. What does this mean? More short sellers are interested in borrowing shares today. Why? Because they need the extra firepower to keep the stock price low, since 12 MILLION SHARES will be bought in what will feel like an instant (last 15 mins of trading). When WKHS was added to the Russell 3000 last year, the stock went from $9.90 to $20.91 in less than 3 days.
Result:
Canoo is one of the least talked about reconstitution plays right now. When volume jumps (which it will), the shorts may not have the firepower to keep the price down, and you know what that means...๐

What do you see?
Each Friday is a significant day for the transition period of the Russell 3000... May is the ranking month. Evaluating who makes what lists.
How were the stonks doing before Friday the 4th?
June 8 we saw that spike to $340/share. June 3rd we saw AMC go to $77/share. Is it possible that this out of the blue price action had something to do with the Russell 3000?
Since that date, June 4th... Things have been sideways. Ultimately 2 weeks for GME. 3 weeks or so for AMC.
Reconstitution day is one of the most traded days in the calendar year.

"This closely watched market event impacts more than $9 trillion in investor assets benchmarked to or invested in products based on the Russell US Indexes. The event can create risks for investors who are tracking these indices to ensure they have minimal performance slippage versus their benchmark index. Similarly, it can create opportunities for investors seeking to benefit from the price moves which may be created from the reconstitution."
How are we not discussing this properly?
"Countless ETFs, mutual funds, and managed asset programs mirror the composition of the Russell US Indexes in their investment funds, structured products, and index-based derivatives. With close to 70% of actively-managed institutional US equity assets currently benchmarked to a Russell Index, changes to index composition are apt to reverberate widely across the market."
TL:DR - Maybe I missed some DD. I dunno. I eat crayons. Sounds to me like the last few weeks have been manipulated in anticipation of the effects of Reconstitution Day. Maybe a smarter ape is required. #NeedAnAdult

... keep reading on reddit โกThere has been some chatter about this once a year event on the sub but I wanted to further shed some light on it and what you can expect.
Other indexes tend to balance on a quarterly basis to better align with the markets direction, bringing in new securities and relinquishing those that have not performed as expected.
The Russell family of indexes does this on the last Friday of June every year, and is traditionally one of the highest volume days across the entire market.
Last year, there were roughly 1.6 billion shares exchanged on that day for the securities being added to the index, close to $56,000,000,000 in value.
The trade this year is to be executed at market close on Friday June 25th, bringing the new securities into the index and removing those who did not make the cut.
Among the additions are a few popular tickers Iโve seen around WSB
All inclusions and exclusions are now final
I think this unique period of time represents an opportunity to play on some of those being added with relatively low IV. Buying at this scale and the addition could put some of these on the radar and provide some momentum moving forward into the next few weeks.
Feel free to weigh in, correct where needed, etc.
Pick your poison, but Iโve heard stocks only go up.
Good luck!
As Iโm sure you read a million times last week, GME has moved from the Russell 2000 index to the Russell 1000 index. It also remains in the Russell 3000 index, which is a combination of the stocks in the R1000 and the R2000.
Iโve been periodically tracking ETF holdings of GME since the end of March 2021, mostly to appease my own curiosity. I grabbed updated info for all ETFs holding GME at the start of June before any ETFs would have started making any modifications to their holdings (Russell announced that GME was being removed from the Micro Cap category after market close on June 4th), and then again after the reconstitution changes should have all been completed.
First, a note. Vanguard doesnโt release daily holdings data for their ETFs, and based on the last data I have, they were the second largest ETF Sponsor based on the number of GME shares held across their various ETFs. I can provide an update on that when they update their data if thereโs interest.
Nowโฆ drum rollโฆ After the Russell reconstitution shuffle, there areโฆ 1.7M (specifically 1,701,964) fewer shares of GME held in ETFs. Womp Womp. Now, before you accuse me of FUD, I hope youโll keep reading because I actually think this is either neutral or positive news.
I had also captured all of the ETFs GME holdings as of end of day June 23rd, because I wanted to get an idea of how much of the shuffle was actually happening on the 25th. It's true, some of the changes between EOD June 23rd and EOD June 25 could have actually happened on the 24th rather than the 25th, but I'm going to assume the majority of the reconstitution trades occurred on the 25th, since that day had way higher volume (12.7M on Friday vs 3.9M on Thursday). The net difference I found from the beginning of June to EOD June 23rd was only -84K shares, which means that a little over 1.6M of the GME shares held were โsold offโ on during reconstitution.
Thatโs about 2% of the total GME shares outstanding (not float) that used to be held in ETFs and now are notโฆ the price barely moved. There was only a 1.3% price drop from Thursday close to Friday close. Itโs almost likeโฆ there are actually way more shares out there then there are supposed to be and "selling off" 2% of the company has very little downward momentum. Or maybe the shares weren't actually sold off at all and most of them were just moved (more on that below the chart).
Whatโs more, the Russell reconstitution trades are theoretically supposed to occur in the last 15is

FTSE Russell released a preliminary list of 255 stocks on Friday to be added to the Russell 3000 index. Some of those stocks like $CLOV, and $DNMR had big moves up on Monday, with continued gains Tues. Others like $PLTR have much smaller gains. $DASH and $RIOT actually closed down.

What is Reconstitution?
According to FTSE/ Russell, โthe Russell US Indexes are designed to reflect the ever-changing US equity market, and the annual reconstitution process is critical to maintaining accurate representation.ย During this highly-anticipated market event, the breakpoints between large, mid and small cap are redefined to ensure market changes that have occurred in the preceding year are captured. Companies are also revaluated to determine where they lie along the investment styles spectrum.โ
What Does It Mean?
It means Index Funds and Mutual Funds that hold the Russell 3000 have to buy the stock by June 25, when the reconstitution takes place. For equities like CLOV, DNMR and others with a large percentage of the float shorted, those short sellers will have added pressure to adjust or exit their positions before the reconstitution drives the price up further. That doesnโt mean every stock being added will have a short squeeze, but it could certainly influence the stock prices. With more buyers, namely index fund managers, that could lead to upward pressure on the price.
What Funds Hold Russell 3000?
A lot of index funds hold shares in the Russell 3000. Many 401K accounts allow investors to pick target year retirement dates, with a blend of different funds based on an investorโs selected dates. Many of these funds invest in different index funds. If you look at Institutional Investors making purchases of DNMR and CLOV, youโll see Index Funds are already purchasing shares, including:
- VRTTX Vanguard Russell 3000 Index Fund
- IWV iShares Russell 3000 ETF
- TMW SPDR Russell 3000 ETF
- VISGX- Vanguard Small-Cap Growth Index Fund
- VISVX- Vanguard
