A list of puns related to "Recalculation"
Final grades have been in for a week. Itβs Christmas now; Iβm off duty. Sorry bud.
We have started MMR recalculations on Heroes Profile. We periodically do this to get more accurate MMR values. We are currently running Quick Match, ARAM, Heroes League, Team League, and Unranked Draft.
We have to wait on Storm League until Hero League and Team League are done. So if you haven't uploaded all of your Storm League games, you still have time
We made a previous post about this https://www.reddit.com/r/heroesofthestorm/comments/rclhnm/mmr_calculations_on_heroes_profile_updates_and/ and with feedback from the community, made some changes.
Because we have a week or two before we start Storm League, we still haven't fully decided on the following
If we don't receive any feedback to the contrary, or figure out how to do the above, then the we will calculate MMR as we have been doing with no changes in seeding or soft resets.
The single most up-to-date MMR value you see across the site, used for leaderboards, API etc will be using the old value and formula and will be updated as new games come in until we finish the recalc and swap to the new system. Β BUT, you will start to see those changes in the MMR graphs and the table showing your MMR values over time. Β So be aware that the data may look out of sorts until we are finished, but your MMR values are still accurate.
This type of site wide MMR recalc is going to be working with billions of data
... keep reading on reddit β‘I have been on keto for the past 11 weeks.. Lost 20 pounds so far and currently 187 pounds.. Also doing IF 14/10 My Goal is to reach 140 pounds.. I have a Garmin 830, 530, 1030, Wahoo Bolt, and Roam.
Garmin's route recalculation is a garbage fire.
Garmin: "Make a u-turn"
Me: "But I'm back on the route!"
Garmin: "Make a u-turn"
Me: "WTF, that's the wrong way!"
*Some time later*
Garmin: "Route found!"
Me: "Thanks, you really had my back there..."
That is all.
I am not due to recertify my income under PAYE until October 2022. However, I am starting a new qualifying job in January 2022, and my salary is increasing by about 60%. Am I supposed to request to recalculate my monthly payments in January? If I donβt, will any of my monthly payments not end up qualifying? I am afraid that I am messing something up by paying based on my previously lower salary.
Thanks for any advice!
Hi,
I'm not able to write in Feature Requests in Discuss, possibly one of you can:]
I think it would be great if one could disable the automatic recalculations of wallets. I find it quite disturbing after doing a couple of Algo transactions when I need to merge a lot of "Costs" or "Exchanges".
Everything is spinning in UI (find it quite disturbing) and I find that this is also an unnecessary computation on Koinly's side as I'm changing a lot and it would be faster and more efficient to recalculate it only once.
Anyone have the same issue with the Fed-Ed pending due to recalculation?
i called in couple times and the Edd told me because of the Fed-Ed recalculation.
They have to recalculate for the fed-ed benefit amounts .
But i still have my balance left until 9/11.
I am very certain that one of my grades posted in Axess is wrong. How do I get that grade recalculated/verified?
I know this sounds strange, but when people don't go the way the GPS wants them to go, my anxiety climbs. The GPS found the quickest way to your destination. This is the road you're supposed to be on. You can't go that way. When the GPS keeps recalculating the route over and over, and finally gives up and lets you go the way you want, it makes me feel like the GPS is upset, even though it isn't sentient.
I'll be zoomed in to see my turns, and BAM, it recalculates and zooms all the way out to see the whole Directions route. Is there a setting to turn this off so it stays zoomed in to something with more detail? This pretty much makes Apple Maps unusable as a navigation map unless there is some way to turn it off.
Purchased my iPhone SE this year, and everything should be up to date.
40+ y/o male - got divorced in 2016 after a 22 year marriage. Former spouse has a diagnosis of MS along with a long list of mental issues. She worked less and less during latter years of marriage, and not at all the last year or so due to heath/mental issues. Kids all stayed with me and there was no child support. Agreed to alimony of more than $1000/mo for life during mediation as at that time she was not working at all, had a doctor's note that she was not able to work, and I feared Alimony could be set even higher if we were to go in front of a judge. (Also she gets a small amount of SSI each month).
Present day - she has been 'volunteering' at a pet shop for about 2 years, working 5 days a week, for a total of ~25 hours a week. Kids say she is being paid $25/day, but income is not reported. Based on that I contacted a local attorney to try to reconsider alimony. As soon as that was filed she switched to 4 days a week. Proposed several different options through the attorney, but of course nothing was accepted. Now mediation has been ordered and her 'employer' has decided her services are no longer needed due to excessive absences. However, it is a small home based pet shop and they are close personal friends, so pretty sure it was planned, especially as they immediately changed their hours when she left.
So my question - what are reasonable alimony recalculation considerations for Iowa? Also, how can a for profit business have 'volunteers' that are the only person there, and are operating the cash register, and fully acting as an employee?
Tough part, and I understand, is it all comes down to what I can prove, which isn't much given the circumstances.
Time to dismiss?
I posted something yeasterday which had no sense but now i got my eyes on something special.

Sometimes docking two vessels causes the Ξv readout to display incorrect values (sometimes 0m/s, sometimes another arbitrary low value), even though the remaining fuel would suggest a higher Ξv.
The game still knows somewhere how much Ξv is left, because burns can still take place when displayed Ξv is 0, the problem is that you can't see how long the burn can be. The burn will stop when the fuel runs out, is there a way to get the game to use the available information to update the Ξv display with a correct value (or values for multiple stages)?
Hey everyone. I am a prospective student for Fall 2022 and also out of state. I'd really love to enroll at USF, but it would be a much easier decision if I could qualify for a presidential or director tuition waver. The main thing I'm concerned about is the core grade recalculation that USF admission does to your transcript. As of right now without my grades recalculated, I would qualify for the director waiver, but I would like to know what my GPA would look like with the recalculation. I emailed admissions and they said they wouldn't recalculate my core class GPA until it was on my official application with my official transcript. This is totally fair and I understand, but I'm still a little nervous/curious. I want to recalculate my GPA on my own, but I also want to be sure I'm doing it correctly. My high school uses a 100 point scale where A is 90-100, B is 80-89, etc. First, I converted all of these 100 point percentages to a 4.0 scale where any A was a 4.0 and any B was a 3.0, etc. Then I added the 1 and .5 points on to any grades that were honors or AP classes. I know this was a really long post, but can anyone tell me if I recalculated my GPA correctly in terms of how USF will do it?
Hours of Googling has failed me on this so I bring it to you, the experts! I appreciate it.
I have one table (~50M rows) that needs to be upserted into another (~100M rows) based on the same unique id. About 1M of 50M rows are inserts and 49M are updates.
I am worried about INSERT ON CONFLICT because it requires a unique constraint/index, and as new rows are inserted, that would require live recalculation of the index, which is prohibitive.
I wanted to remove all indexes and use MERGE but found that it does not exist in Postgres.
Of course, MERGE would require a full table sort of each (only once at the beginning), then a combination of join/updates, then I would add the unique constraint/index back at the end.
I believe this would be way better than any type of insert into a 100M row table with an existing index. What is the Postgres optimization for this?
Thanks!
Hey,
I'm trying to train my HR with slow runs at the moment and after a run the other day, my watch told me it wanted to recalculate my zone thresholds. Instead of Z2 being between 120-132, it's now 138 - 153. I don't think this sounds right though? Seems way to high for Z2.
As stated, even though a large majority of us are aware of the βnerfβ looming tomorrow. Many, will not or will choose to voice their disapproval of changes on here and within other communities.
I for one, as a seasoned beta player with thousands upon thousands of hours with multiple optimized bloodied/junkies hybrid characters am excited.
I ran through the wasteland one last time clearing all the usual locations and finished it off by triple nuking the colossus/SBQ in a private server. I know that I not only speak for myself but others when I say...itβs gotten old. I shouldnβt be able to solo the endgame bosses in a minute or less and one tap every other enemy that gets in my way. It was cool at first but it is no longer fun.
Although, I know with legendary perks arriving, Iβll be able to get some of that missing damage back, The only thing that i worry about is how it will effect more casual/newer players. Without endgame gear and optimized builds im not fairly confident that they will be able to fight tankier enemies without feeling like theyβre throwing darts at a brick house. Hopefully some of the rebalancing bethesda has promised in the future will come sooner rather than later. Keep your heads up and take it with an open mind. See yβall in the wasteland ππΌ
I know this will most likely be downvoted into oblivion for not hopping on the βbethesda is killing the game!β train but oh well, this is a community where we should be able to express our opinions without fearing being hated by the community.

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/498692562295586838/858798111535267880/unknown.png the old scores are higher pp than higher acc top score. youre probably thinking it's because the player is inactive and their plays werent recalculated, but that's not the case. these are their play histories: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/498692562295586838/858799654706872370/unknown.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/498692562295586838/858799779802513448/unknown.png
the rebalance said: >β Background user score recalculations [Done] This took 10 days in total (started 18th January, finished 28th January). Note that an initial pass has only covered active users (in the last month) and in some cases, only top 100 scores. This should cover basically all visible scores. We will continue to perform consitency updates for the remaining users and scores over the coming weeks.
only the initial pass says it could have missed these plays. it's been several weeks now, where other passes have happened, so i'd imagine active players who just didn't play for one month should have been covered?
and then i saw this https://www.reddit.com/r/osugame/comments/o8ztku/osu_is_buggin/ today
their top play is: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/498692562295586838/858801523831865404/unknown.png
which is like not right lol: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/498692562295586838/858801418584326144/unknown.png
and we look at his play history: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/498692562295586838/858802100897316924/unknown.png
so it seems like the score recalculations just didn't go over people other than the active users from the past month at the time, even though the wording seems like it should have by now?
also in general this means that inactive users at the time who come back wont have their scores updated?? (like cockesyas!!!11)
example: https://osu.ppy.sh/users/6036595, he returned in february, and you can see that his old top plays are like 1 or 2 pp off of the rebalance value
why am i typing this here i should just do this on twitter and tag peppy until he responds then post his response on /r/peppyRoastedHimGood
idk where to report this because it's not osu client/lazer and the github is for that i think
tl;dr users who didnt play a month before jan 2021 rebalance and for a few days or weeks after dont get their old scores updated at all. so cokeiZ's freedom dive will never

I filed before the new tax law went into effect, so claimed all of my unemployment income. My return has finally been processed as of this week, but I was wondering if there's any indication of when it will be recalculated? Or if I'm just going to be in a standoff with the IRS forever.
How long does it take for OSAP to recalculate your funding when you change information on your application? My change is the course load. (100% changed to 83%)
So i already got an estimate for my osap loan but it doesnt cover my whole tuition fee for the both semesters its probably bc of my parent's income but i dont expect them to give me money for my tuition. Can i ask for a recalculation since they most likely wont contribute to my studies?
For as long as I can remember, JSS recalculation happened every second Sunday.
Yesterday it would normally have happened. Which is usually reflected by the date changing on the My Stats page. But this time, no change.
Is everyone else seeing the same? Does anyone happen know what the new update schedule will look like?
I heard that when a player joins or leaves a guild all the building costs for sectors update?
Is this true, or does it only recalculate the required goods of the era of the person who left or joined?
I mean, the damage from those with defense reduction, even those who just drop it to a negative is annoying, especially in the early game. But it ain't fun when you see those heroes much more often and then sacrificing damage for defense just to not get killed so quickly. Anyway, who is your annoying pain in the butt hero that you don't like dealing with and why?
Hello everyone the recalculation of 8th and 9th July earnings are currently ongoing, you should slowly begin to see them being added to your "TOTAL BALANCE" thru out the day. Have a great week
Hello, Iβm a rising senior in high school planning on applying to UF this fall. I was wondering if anyone is aware of exactly how UF recalculates your high school GPA according to their βweightingβ when they are reviewing your application. For example, my high school assigns a 4.0 weighting for an A in a regular class, a 5.0 for an honors class, and a 6.0 for an AP class. I think this is definitely on the higher end, so I was wondering if anyone knows the weighting for UFβs recalculation of high school GPAs when reviewing applicants. Iβm not sure if this is a known thing, though. But if so, any help is appreciated.
