A list of puns related to "Praiseworthy"
Would one consider Joseph smith, measured by his actions and reputation, to be someone who was praiseworthy, honest and of good report? If the answer is no, is membership of the church he established against the proclamation to โseek afterโ those things? If he was, please provide some context for why you think his reputation is net positive as opposed to net negative.

As a kid, I had a very hard time with anything "inappropriate" that found its way to me. I punished myself for things I came across (usually accidentally) on the Internet. I struggled with making sense of my favorite movies that, as I grew older, became obviously "worldly." I would stay up crying after realizing innuendos in Indiana Jones movies, Clue, all movies I'd seen as family-friendly. The way I dealt with these realizations was not healthy, and only made me feel guilty, not wise or happy. I would hate myself for watching any movie with anything that could be construed as "inappropriate," but at the same time feel depressed because that applied to so many movies (and I LOVE movies). It wasn't until the past few years when my husband shared this Orson Scott Card speech with me that my religious OCD started to really subside and I started seeing that what is virtuous, lovely, or praiseworthy doesn't have to be roses and gumdrops with no darker, difficult themes present at all.
Orson Scott Card points out that there is a difference between the depiction of evil and the enacting of evil. If movies and books are supposed to show us reality and be relatable, they have to show some degree of evil. Evil exists in the world, and pretending it doesn't is naรฏve. What matters is whether it is gratuitous, whether it adds to a greater lesson, whether it is shown as evil or shown as good. I've learned to measure my enjoyment of books and movies on whether they make me feel happier or wiser rather than based on whether they have uncomfortable content, period. It's made me a lot less anxious and exposed me to a lot of good, uplifting media.
I've finally decided that I'll have one full bottle from the Private Blend collection. I'm eyeing on 50mL of Tobacco Vanille. I'd consider this an old-ish fragrance by now in the sense that it was released roughly 15 years ago or so. I'm sure there have been minor tweaks in the formula. In itself I don't have a problem with that. But I do wanna know if the bottle I can pick up right now, in a department store, will still last a decent amount of time on skin and still smell like tobacco and vanilla.
I actually asked this ~5-6 years ago and it was a fun convo, so I thought I'd kick it off again. I know this is a big ask, but I haven't seen Picard or Discovery yet, so if any part of your response includes spoilery details from those I'd love a tag/warning.
#Actual Post:
For the purposes of this hypothetical, let's say there is no official cease fire, no armistice, no treaty, just one day the Borg stop attacking. I was thinking about this last night and it raised a bunch of questions in my mind:

once being trans is socially acceptable or socially praiseworthy, more than 1% of people will identify as trans

This sequence was from the 1927 film wings. I think the movie was the first to ever win a best picture Oscar
