I'm looking to hire someone to build a Post Office compatible with the Postage Protocol
https://link.medium.com/xyH6qv00I1
https://github.com/simpleledger/slp-specifications/blob/master/slp-postage-protocol.md
In addition to functioning as specified above, I need some way to allow specified applications to have access to pricing per stamp custom to their application. I'll also need a way to add new tokens later. A config file or something is fine.
I am paying with BCH and it will be released open source. If this is something you can build please get in touch with me. DM me here, or @bchinjim on Telegram, or bchinjim@protonmail.com. Please be prepared to show evidence of your skill and experience. Thank you.
It's funny to see people groovin' in life, and it's funny to see drunk and high people do dumb shit, families attempting to eat fries on edibles, genuine people on post-op sedatives, it's hilarious. But much of the other content is concerning, and honestly most of the hard drug stuff is just sad. I don't want to be a dad, but I think it might be beneficial to pin a post to the page listing addiction resources, narcotic testing, responsible drug use methods, and what to do when a friend or family member is experiencing a drug induced episode or is intoxicated and in need of assistance. Who knows, it might save someone someday!
A semi autobiographical account, we follow Henry, a man in his mid 30s who needs a job and joins the Postal Office only to absolutely hate it. Yet despite this, he is only one of a handful of 200 employees that last 11 years. We follow his monotonous routine of filing letters, being micro managed and taking the mail to unhappy and crazy neighbors. His personal life is also a mess with random hook ups, breaks ups and deaths.
What makes this book so good isn't the prose; it's blatant and straight forward. It's not the plot as their isn't really one. It's just how raw it is. Henry is both sympathetic and pathetic. I relate so much to him when he complains about bureaucracy and having to fake being interested in your job to your employer. He also seems hopeless for not planning a way out. But that's sort of the thing about this book, there are people who put up with the grind and die. It's horrifying and funny and brutally hoenst.
Edit: wow didn't realize bukowski was such a hit with people. Nice.
Yesterday, I had a look at the YouTube trailers views for TG:M. 30M & 12M for the two official trailers respectively at paramount's official channel. I know tailer views aren't the most reliable metric to judge a movie's potential box office prospects but the general reaction to the trailers, spots have been pretty positive and Cruise is an reliable powerhouse when it comes to straight up spectacle movies , combine with that the, the summer legs and nostalgia that audiences of NA have for the original would this potential be a big breakout and do 600M-700M worldwide??
I've contacted recently the Finanzamt via phone and they requested me to put everything in writing and send it to an email.
Once I did it, I got an automatic reply saying that they will reach me per post, due to data protection.
Apparently, they are trying to protect me without me even asking for it.
Do I have an option to avoid waiting for the paper post delivery and simply direct all the correspondence to my email?
Thank you all.
Seriously, ELI5. What is in it for them? Seems like it would save time, drama, and money. But maybe Iβm not seeing the big picture.
I listened to this podcast this morning. The podcast was only about 15 mins, and it had an article as well. It's from an outlet called Atlas Obscura. It's about a postal box on the Galapagos Islands. It is a cute little story and I thought fellow card lovers would appreciate it

My partner and I are moving next month and he submitted a change of address form for himself (to the US post service). During the process, he had to pay $1-something to "prove his identity"... but what if the name on mail you receive isn't your legal name? Almost all of my mail goes to my chosen name, but I haven't had a chance to legally change my name yet, so any "proof of identity" I could give them wouldn't work for it.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there any way to prove both names are "me"?
Extract a list of users and protocols they are currently using
Write a script to disable frequently unused protocols by default, but provide exceptions for individual users/protocols
Can anyone point in the right direction? New at this and google didn't help
