A list of puns related to "Pneumatic Tube"
I was talking to my friend about pneumatic transport systems and we both remember a scene from a movie where a jewelry cashier in a shopping mall floor is fiddling with the pneumatic tube system. Has a steam punkish feel to it. There's probably action involved. Anyone can figure which movie it's from?
Iβve been having trouble with one tube in particular. Iβve patched it 3 times since Iβve had the Hurricane and yesterday, some debris punched through the tire itself and the tube. I can plug the tire, but itβs time for the tube to retire - lol. Any recommendations?
I was at walgreens the other day picking up a prescription and I wondered why I have never heard of it being used as I think it would be pretty ingenious and way better than digging a whole tunnel.
For those who dont know a pneumatic tube is those tubes at pharmacies and banks where you put your paperwork or money into a capsule and it uses air to transport it to the building.
Seems like a pretty easy thing to do as there are machines that help dig straight holes , gps and other tools. and it would be pretty quick to send money back and dope in.
I think the title it's pretty self explanatory, but basically I built my aquila x2 an hour ago and as I was using the automatic loading filament option I noticed that the ptfe tube was popping off the pneumatic joint.
I already tried changing it to the spare one and I've gotten this same result. I haven't even made a print already.
Anyone has an idea on how I can fix this?
Just putting it out there. Sometimes making a big (benign) deal out of something small helps it stick in my brain. Because of course I'm thinking about it when the bank is closed and not when I'm able to drop it off.
Its been a week, the longer I go without returning it, the more shameful it will be. Its bad enough seeing that bright yellow cylinder mocking me every time I get in my truck. Hopefully the desire for online accountability will be the push I need to keep this thing top of mind.
I will report back WHEN, not IF, I complete this task.
C'mon, brain, you can do this!
[edit] Success! It was touch and go for a second when I auto-piloted into the wrong lane and had to turn around but I made it and the lady was super nice about it.
Glad to find this sub. I was bequeathed a Steelcase Jersey office chair from an employer, and it's worked out well in terms of comfort and satisfying my partner's fussy and particular taste. I sit in it a lot, so it's worn down some β particularly, the pneumatic height adjustment tube.
I'm one step ahead of ya: I bought a new tube on eBay, and it's purportedly heavy duty so should do better under my fat arse.
The instructions almost breezily indicate the base just pops off with a bit of tapping on opposing legs. Well. I have been banging on that motherfucker for hours, and the only thing I've lowered is the peace level at my place.
Has anyone ever pulled it off, both figuratively and literally? Any tips or advice?
I was rewatching La Casa de Papel and full on expected this to happen, but apparently Iβve remembered incorrectly. I clearly remember a scene (Iβm not sure anymore if it was a movie or a tv show) where the robbers transported their loot (I think it was just money) via these old pneumatic tubes that were used to send mail. Then an outside person was collecting the loot by opening the tube somewhere underground, and I think I remember a standoff afterwards on the streets between the guy that collected the loot and someone else. Who can help me??
Like, not big enough to send people, but big enough to send a bucket of hard drives to send large amounts of data across a series of tubes.

I've searched all of the internet to find this answer. I explored the second page of Google. I looked at the dead Tekkit Legends wiki, I asked in discord servers with no answers.
I decided to brute force my way through every possible combination until I found this one that actually works. I blew my own mind. I hope this will give closure to everyone that realised Jacked Wire wasn't in Legends.
Place down the Pneumatic tube, right-click on the tube while holding a red wire in your hand. The tube is now the Redstone version. (idk if you can craft the Redstone version of the tube outright).
I do hope everyone who ever looked for this answer can rest in peace. I sure can.

So I didn't even know this was possible but someone managed to send samples without the pod.
It works by having a pressure sensor, it's a green foam thing. You put the sample in the pod and off it goes. Unbeknownst to me (and everyone else) you don't need the pod. It will send anything if it senses something is there.
Someone on the shift last night managed to send some blood cultures and two MRSA swabs and an ESBL swab without the pod. The blood culture's magically made it in one piece but the swabs were gone and only half of one is found.
The technicians can come out Tuesday, the whole system is down as it is likely contaminated. We are a major trauma centre. Massive hospital that really relies on this system. Potentially Β£15,000 down the swanny. Glad it wasn't me!
In all honesty though if it can be that easily broken its a silly system that needs updating. Some sensor or scanner that will only work by knowing the pod is there. Although I have to question the thought process of the person who sent it, like it's really obvious it does not work that way.
Happy Bank Holiday to everyone in our trust!
