Again, great random event BSG. Despite people camping, or SCAV's committing PMC genocide at the last second on extract, this is some good times in Tarkov.

Is it just me or are a lot of PMC women in well paying careers ending up with guys who are NEETs, failsons, “serial entrepreneurs” with zero successful businesses, or some combination of these? Are these women actually delighted to have a househusband and being the sole breadwinner?

Also, in every single case I know, the guys have a very wannabe-chad overconfident persona online (I don’t know them in person as I only know their wives through work), trying to emphasize their manliness which I theorize is them compensating?

One guy keeps posting pictures with his hand on the steering wheel of a nice car with a nice watch on… I know for a fact this man has no income and his wife paid for the car and the watch, so what could be the rationale behind this? Are these men secretly mentally breaking down inside?

Seriously, these are all decently attractive, educated and professionally successful women who are in daily proximity to similarly educated and successful men, so where do they find these NEETs / househusbands and why do they marry them?

(Also, this isn’t me being jealous or something, I wouldn’t want to marry a PMC girl as I couldn’t cope with her making more money than me and also can’t stand type A people which most of these women are… I’ll stick to art hoes who are impressed by my junior level PMC salary lol)

I looked through the rules and this seemed okay to post but I'm also dumb dumb, so my bad if I'm now an outlaw.

So I literally started playing last night, doing offline raids until I got my footing. Tonight, I decided to go online to give it a whirl.

I was playing on Customs, and after a bountiful harvest picking clean some corpses, I decided to hit up the gas station for a few extra Rubles. I had just cleared the registers, when I hear the door open to my left. A PMC, basically in fucking riot gear, strolls in, his footsteps echoing in my ear canals. I assume he heard me playing with the registers.

I turn to face him, and he's got me in his sights before I can even think. I know I can't do anything against him, so I pop the mag out of my AK as if to say "I surrender, please don't." I thought maybe, just maybe, he'd leave me be if I did that.

Instead, he slowly thuds his way up to me, his sights trained on my nose the entire time. He stops, 2ft short. He says somethiing in Russian, drops a Snickers bar and some pineapple juice, wiggles and walks away, babbling to himself as he walks out the door.

Thank you mysterious Tarkov fairy, I will never forget the sheer terror coursing through my veins.

This wipe they allowed you to choose between different faces and since then I wondered if they would extend that skin colour and more. I don't know if BSG has thought more about character creation since then but I think it'd be a easy and cool feature. I think height would be off limits because of balance but things like hair and such would be great.

PS: Don't worry I'm not complaining about "representation" just because I can't be black in game. I don't want another BF5 situation.

Seeing lots of posts again regarding how “difficult and broken” scav AI can be. While it can be frustrating, and they will luckily kill you sometimes, this should be a VERY rare occurrence still yet.

If you are dying to scavs this much on your PMC, there are other skills in Tarkov you should work on before coming to Reddit to bitch about scavs. Frankly you suck at Tarkov if they’re constantly killing you

I don’t wanna hear all your dumbass stories about how scavs headshot 360 no scope buckshot from 300M away either. Like I said, it happens but very very rarely. Stop being so bad and stop catering to these noobs talking about scav AI being too hard lmao

I think that USEC is getting all the attention In maps, other than the area being in Russia there are no signs of the BEAR PMC group being there. I say that the developers should add BEAR areas. Like a BEAR camp that spawns Ak’s or other Russian equipment. Or just like the USEC stash on customs we should add a BEAR stash. I at least want the existence of the BEAR operators to be shared through the map just like USEC is. Thoughts?

I like the random events that happened. And I really like that we don't know when they arrive, or if they arrive. What I don't particularly like is the fact that they're rapidly succeeding each other and if, for example you're busy for 2-3 days, you don't get to enjoy it. Realistically it also feels difficult to find ideas for random events for many different days if you need to change it every second day.

So in regards to having more events like what is happening now, but not all during the same week, I'd suggest they could still be more spread out, maybe last longer, and completely unannounced.

BUT.

Remember Diablo 2 ? If all players collectively sold a specific amount of *Stones of Jordans (*LedX equivalent of Diablo), at some point a cracked up version if Diablo (Uber Diablo) would spawn somewhere random on any map, on some random server and would give insane loot, but would be ridiculously hard to kill (on top of being ridiculously hard to spawn, then ridicoulsly hard to find).

If you ever had more than 2-3 Stones in your inventory you were probably a pretty hardcore player. It's probably more equivalent to the Red Keycard even.

You had to sell an unknown amount to merchants (imagine giving a red card to fence), had no confirmation that you increased the count, and some day, some time, a server would be notified "Diablo now walks these lands".

If this happened to be some random kid who doesn't know and just leaves the game, it's lost. People had to message each other and call for help, wait in the game, try to find it, etc. It was very rare and exciting. Only 8 people per server, and many people wanting in. I only had the chance to fight him ONCE in about 6 years of playing the game a lot.

Could we imagine something similar for EFT? But maybe not has blind/hardcore/hidden.

Imagine you could pay Fence 1 million euros to force a boss meeting or a free labs for 3 days, or starve other traders of some frequent items ? Collectively, people could donate some money, or barter goods, for something to happen. We don't even have to know what nor when so no one can predict / anticipate. But once that community treshold is reached, something happens, and it's exciting.

Also, we obviously need some kind of money sink if we want top tier equipment to feel top tier and rare. Poorer players would just not participate in those "donation" type events, while more

I usually use a P90 and go CQC with scavs/PMC's, but lately decided to grind through Jaeger's sniper quests and guess what I love the sniper-playstyle.
After countless scavs killed with the DVL-10, I finally had the perfect opportunity to hunt and snipe a PMC on Woods. Waiting for the perfect moment, undetected, the joy of the headshot was pure and real.

These events with extra boss/minion/raider interactions have amplified the amount of times I've been "one-tapped" by SNB/M80/etc with the post-raid screen showing anywhere from 2 (SNB, Schturman and Svetbros) to 4 (M80, raiders) shots received.

I've not had this issue with regular scavs, but my last 4 deaths from bosses/raiders have been these nonsense deaths. How does this shit even happen? Is this the AI version of desync?!

BSG is needlessly pigeon-holing players by only allowing them to consume "traditional" food and drink. Players should retain ALL options to be able to escape from Tarkov.

Just for those that don’t know fence is currently paying 100k USD to EACH player EVERY time you use a PMC/scav extract. Just wanna do it once or twice.

Side note this probably confirms a wipe considering it’s 100k fucking USD.

Considering VOIP will probably be in the game by this time, and even if it isn't, working together with a random solo or group might be our best option at tackling this shit. I feel like some of my best Tarkov moments have been from spontaneous team ups with fellow PMCs. Imagine shooting at some scavs up the street and seeing a couple die ahead of you as another pushes with you. That shit would be sweet.

I've been playing Tarkov almost since day one and that first announcement trailer of the two dudes linking up in factory had me hooked. I can't wait to potentially see that shit happen on a large scale

Nothing like taking down a chad with a crap loadout and having to play around weaknesses.
