Happy New Year everyone! I recently upgraded my PC and need to sell the parts I took off. I also have a bunch of miscellaneous items to sell that I found around the house.
I've tried my best to include all the accessories for the PC parts and they were all working before I swapped them out for newer components around a week ago. I'm gonna get the card next week & I already built my pc a month ago with an APU (5600g) and psu of 550w. Just wondering since Nvidia listed in their website to at least get a 600w psu for this card, will mine be ok to use with a 550w instead ? I'll never oc as I have never done it before. Just play games and do 3d rendering, video editing. I've seen a few posts about this topic but none of them(op) mention their psu company.

In the last few months I switched to Linux (Manjaro KDE) on my Thinkpad and I really liked it! Now I just bought a new MSI laptop and, even if I would really like to have Linux on it too, I'm concerned about some hardware and software compatibility. In particular, I'm thinking about fingerprint sensor and face recognition features (which are built for Windows Hello and I don't know if they would work on Linux) and also about the MSI Center Pro (to manage battery and usage profiles) that it's available only for windows... Do anyone use Linux on a recent MSI laptop? How do you solved this issues? (Maybe MSI Center Pro can run with Wine?)
Following is a listing of Gigabyte, MSI, ASRock, ASUS, motherboards H610, B660, H670 and Z690, for DDR4 only.
From Gigabyte, H610 boards are easy to understand, as there are only really two boards, with the designations vary based only on the outputs for IGP (S2, H, S2H), or being ITX (H610I). S2 has only d-sub, H (ยฃ80) and S2h (ยฃ90) models have HDMI etc..
Cards labelled rev 1.0 are Intel LAN, 1.1 is Realtek 8118, both GbE
You get 2 x RAM slots up to 32GB each, with dual channel, and 4 usb 3.2 gen 1 slots.
The H610I board is mini-itx and has weaker power delivery - 4 + 1 +1 instead of 6 + 1 +1 with just 4-pin ATX 12V connector instead of 8-pin
There is 1 PCIE3 x4 M2 slot, and 4 SATA 6 gb/s, and 1 PCIe x16 (PCI4), and 1 PCIE x1 (PCI3) - absent on the H610I, two case fan headers, an RGB LED header
Going to B660, the spec goes in order (cumulative, unless otherwise stated):
Micro-ATX:
- B660M Power - very similar to H610M boards: still 6 + 2 +1 power, only 2 memory slots, USB 3.2 Gen 1, no USB C, Intel GbE. Extra PCIE x1 slot, plus ARGB header.You also get Q-Flash Plus (flash without CPU or RAM), which is missing from H610, which is handy considering that the CPU list from Gigabyte is just the CPUs from last year.... There are now 2 M.2 slots, running at PCIE 4.0 x4, instead of PCIE 3.0 x4. RAID is supported for SATA.
- B660M D2H - now Realtek 2.5 GbE, MOS heatsink.
- B660M Gaming - adds USB C 3.2 gen 2 socket, but only 1 PCIE1 slot. Also adds third case fan header.
- B660M DS3H (ยฃ105) 4 RAM sockets, thermal guard for M.2
- B660M D3H extra PCIE4, an extra PCI socket, and a USB 3.2 gen 2 (USB type A), 3 more audio jacks, and thunderbolt connectors. Upgraded MOS heatsink.
- B660M Gaming X - fully covered thermal design. 8 + 2 +1 power. Only 1 PCIE16 and 1 PCIE4 slot, only 3 audio jacks. No USBA 3.2 Gen 2. Extra RGB and extra addressable LED header strips.
- B660M Aorus Pro - add USB 3.2 gen 2 type a, 4-pin ATX power connector, water cooling headers. Slightly better heatsinks. 12 + 1 +1 power.
Mini-ITX
- B660I Aorus Pro. Similar to B660M but, only 1 PCIE slot (16x). No Wifi. 8 + 1 + 1 power. Only 1 M.2. Front USB-C only 3.2 gen 1. No 4-pin ATX power, or thunderbolt, only 1 rgb + 1 addressable led header
