Hey guys!

I just figured out, that on my german Evangelion Platinum 07 Edition, there is a "bug". I cannot play the last episode in any other language than english. Not in german, not in japanese with german nor in japanese with english subtitles.

I obviously do not think, that there would be a fix for this, because this DVDs are about 15 years old, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem, becuase I find it quite funny. I'm a little sad, cause I don't like the english dub for Eva, but it's not a big deal.

Literally joyless, terrible and actually broke me to the point I stamped on the case and disc until they were in pieces; I have never had this reaction to a game before.

Akumu is absolute bullshit, in a game with an otherwise fair Platinum, fair difficulty and overall enjoyable gameplay it throws all that out the window purely to be ‘difficult’, except everything killing you in ONE HIT, is not difficult it’s pure unfair bullshit. I got stuck at the yellow shutters in Ch11. I was stuck there for over an hour, all because every single enemy is ranged and tactics that were meant to work (grenades, freeze bolts, magnum etc.) were not working.

To anyone that enjoys survival horror and their Platinums, don’t even bother with this one, it’s as rare as it is for a reason. A terribly designed, poorly thought out, absolutely infuriating highest difficulty.

For the record; I’ve got the Platinum for all 3 Souls games, they’re also ball-bustingly hard but they’re never unfair, cheap or just plain bullshit.

Edit: Sold to u/S3ndy who unfortunately didn't have a plat, but I can tell from his profile he's a legit gamer, and this is for his gf's birthday so I'm counting that a win.

I have the Platinum Collection (2005) DVD box set of Evangelion, and I loaned it to a friend for a short time, only to have the box set returned missing disc 5 (Kaji cover art) which contains episodes 21-26... real bummer to not have the original ending on hand. I only have the directors cut ending now, but I'd like to rewatch the last 2 series episodes again.

I've been scouring Ebay for months hoping a solo disc for this collection will come up but I haven't had any luck :(...

If you have a spare Disc 5 (eps 21-26, Kaji cover, disc only is fine) of the 2005 Evangelion Platinum Collection and you're willing to sell it to me, name your price and DM me!

I know this is likely discussed frequently, but I’d also think that the economy of these sets keep changing over time and was wondering if this is currently a steep price, a standard price or a bargain

I have a MZ-M10, same as MZ-RH910. Basically I want to skip the recompression to ATRAC if my source file is only MP3 and no higher quality is available. Is this doable? Would the resulting MD be playable on non Hi-MD recorder/players? The compatibility between Hi-MD and MD recorder/players is a bit confusing, especially when you throw in Hi-MD formatted MD and mp3 wrapped in ATRAC format. I know Hi-MD or Hi-MD formatted disc can't be read in normal MD players, but can mp3 wrapped ATRAC on normal MD be played back in normal MD players? I think the answer is no. Wish there is a table with all the compatibilities between formats.

Also, in Platinum MD, I'm not able to go to Hi-MD mode with a Hi-MD formatted regular MD disc. I think this is still under development? I can copy files to it via windows explorer, just Platinum MD can't see it.

Hello everyone,

Been using Platinum MD to make quite a few discs so far and since the very beginning, I’ve noticed that the time available on disc doesn’t match what goes on.

I add up the time of the albums or mixes I make to get the most out of a disc. I’ll have a 74 minute disc saying it has 74:56 available on it give or take a few seconds.

For some reason Platinum will add a few seconds per track in the background and this usually ends with the last track not being burned to the disc. I pop the disc in the player and the total time is something like 72:30. The track I had left was 1-2 minutes.

Technically, it should fit, but doesn’t.

I’m using platinum version 0.7. The latest for Windows. Is this a know issue and been resolved in the 1.1 for Mac OS? If so, then that’s fine. I’ll just bide my time for the Windows release. But if that’s not the case, is there something I’m doing wrong perhaps?

Hi, fellow Hitmans! I don't know if it was discussed here, but there is a code bundled with your H3 disc edition which unlocks the VR content. Actually, it grants you a full Hitman 3 game for PS4 that you can download. To use that opportunity you need to activate the code, then go to the main menu of the H3 and find there a tile that says something about "Claim your VR content". Press it, and you will be taken to download the file, which, in fact, is a full PS4 version of the game. You can download it from the Library section on your PS4 and play on PS4, but the best part...

The best part is the shared progress on PS5. So, if you have platinumed the H3 on PS5, download the PS4 version on your PS5, launch it, and enjoy the trophies galore! Viola, the second Hitman 3 platinum is yours in the matter of seconds.

I don't know how this works for the digital purchases.
