A list of puns related to "Persnickety"
You might see this sub change colors/fonts/pics etc for a while. Once I get the look right I'll stop.
Well, I've just started experimenting with a new eval board. Of course it comes with a built-in CMSIS-DAP compatible debug adapter.
Which is nice, until I realized that in order to flash the board without error, I have to flash once (with errors), try running the program, then flash again. I suspect this is due to the debug adapter USB port being connected to a USB hub instead of directly to one of the PCs USB ports ... I will try with a direct connection tomorrow.
But this isn't the first time I have seen cryptic debug adapter issues, and they have happened with built-in debug adapters as well as expensive commercial ones. Can't these things just be built to ... work? Or am I just unlucky?
DAMN I GOTTA DO 2 MORE OF THESE THIS WEEK?
This is your week to get all your petty little peeves off your chest.
Topic inspired by the half a dozen people who are extremely bothered by posts that say Timmy and Tommy (or any epithets you care to use) are "SELLING". They BUY. You sell TO them.
On a related note, Daisy Mae SELLS turnips.
People who are bothered by this are small in number, but outsized in their ability to push the report button. Hopefully this will get them out of my hair.
My pet peeve is people who are incautiously abbreviating the word "raccoon". Timmy and Tommy are tanukis, BTW.

Happy turnipping!
Hey All,
I've been out of (mainly tool) storage for quite some time and decided to massively upgrade my storage and kit. I'm looking for opinions on the following categories of tools. I'm not a mechanic, just a homeowner with interests in general repair, electronics, and all things electrical. I really want to focus on Made in USA tools to support the dwindling few who still make their tools here on US soil. I'm also good with German/Swiss/Japanese tools followed by Taiwan. I want to avoid Made in China if at all possible.
So here's the categories and I look forward to your thoughts:
I'm all ears for other recommendations in these categories (or others) from people in the know. Again, as a homeowner, I don't have a reason for the box truck stuff, but I'm also quite particular and don't mind paying substantially extra for good quality stuff even if I may not take it to its breaking point.
TL;DR: Looking to add to/replace my existing kit with good quality, Made in USA stuff. Recommendations?
I'm almost certain it's cause I'm getting older but I seriously struggle to find anything worth playing.
My faves:
Reason they're my faves:
Not RPGs. Can't stand crafting or really anything where numbers shoot out of baddies (Destiny, FC New Dawn, etc) but if you have something that may change my mind, feel free to suggest!
Graphics. I like immersion but just don't feel it with cartoony or 16 bit style stuff.
Little to no in game currency or upgrade markets. Everything the game offers is built into the game itself.
I'm dating myself but Titanfall 1 was glorious. You get in and you're playing the game immediately. Upgrades were limited and even randomized but this meant you got good at what loadout worked best for you instead of wallowing in customizations screens.
Many thanks in advance to anyone making suggestions. Don't mean to sound difficult, I just know what keeps my interest up.
