So how I understand it, "exploration mode" is basically just codified traveling in game, being in dungeon or overworld. So not everyone is kinda doing everything while traveling/exploring.
My question is, when do you roll dice during it?
If someone is "Searching" during exploration, does DM roll Perception every time they're nearby something hidden? Same goes for "Avoid notice" do you only roll Stealth when there is something that could possibly spot you?
Would DM need to just keep rolling bunch of roles as the party moves through the dungeon? That sounds a bit laborious and you would kind of tip off players when there is something interesting near by. If you try to counter that by "fake" rolls , that's even more work.
Is this how it works or am I misunderstanding it?
Edit: I just want to say how much I appreciate this community. Every single post I submitted was actually upvoted and has bunch of detailed answers. Really refreshing compered to most of other subs.
And how do you feel when you do this? or when it happens to you?
Amazon currently has 2 months of Epix for $2: https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/14394695
My password is saved on my laptop and randomly didn't work, and locked me out. It's been 4 days and I checked back well after 24 hours two times and then it gives me the same message even after updating my password to a new one to be sure I had it right. I even waited 2 days to try again on the computer this last time, and after one try with the new password it did it again. π
Meanwhile 100% still working on my phone, and can log in and out no problem, post, refresh, all that.
Hi,
For some odd reason I'm searching for a game, or rather a position, where one player can force a win via checkmate (can be check in n, where n is any number), but he can also force a draw via perpetual check (again, maybe the perpetual check comes about a few steps later, but the player has an assured path to it).
A real, historical game would be a bonus. But constructed positions will be appreciated, too.
Thanks!
Hi. Looking for help on this just to be sure. Got this as a gift 5 years ago. Had my doubts because it was in a gift box (no Rolex box and papers) so I never wore it. I want to know if itβs worth being repaired (2 below) and finally worn.
I tried to check online for fake check guides:
There is no engraving on the rehaut but I understand that not all models have that
The hands do move clockwise when the crown is moved up but I think itβs broken because it doesnβt move past a certain point.
When the clasp is closed, the βRolexβ logo is not covered at all (viewed from the back) unlike in most pictures I saw online.
I couldnβt use the other methods that require comparison with a real one or that rely on experience.
I would appreciate helpful comments. Thank you.
I put this under the funny flair because I just wanted to commiserate with others who have this. Itβs funny because even though Iβve checked my calendar already Iβll get a jolt and think oh shot, let me check my calendarβ¦I must be missing an appointment or a call or something!!
