A list of puns related to "Permed"
Hi all! I'm looking for recommendations on a salon or stylist in OC (preferably closer to Seal Beach area) who specializes in curly hair and/or perms. I have natural combination curly/wavy/straight hair and would like to find someone who can help me accomplish my hair goals and would love to book a consultation on what that can entail.
Thanks!!!
Hey guys, I made my hair curly and left it for a few months but then I wanted to go back to my regular hair, so I went to the salon and straightened my hair again but after straightening it, I ran my fingers through my hair and it was SUPER THIN! I don't know what to do as usually my hair is thick, also I can't put my hair to the left and the right side as it's too straight. Should I just shave my hair off and restart? Please help me.
Title says it all. I had straight/kinda wavy hair but got it permed (it wasn't treated in any other way beforehand) and was wondering what the best way to take care of it would be. I didn't see any perm-specific advice so I was wondering if the care would be the same for treated/artificial curls?
Thanks in advance!

Okay so last night I got really sick. It was a disaster. Anyways, I threw up a little bit on a small section of hair that was hanging down in front of my face.
I just got the perm Friday. I desperately need to wash my hair because I can still smell the throw up. Is it okay to wash it after 48 hours?
Some more background information on this perm. This is the second time in 2 weeks that it has been permed. I went to the salon last week and got it done. The whole front section of my hair was flat before I even left the salon.
They redid it free of charge and the curls seem much better this time. They said we needed to be more strict with it since this was the second perm and the first didn't take.
Please please someone tell me I can wash my hair

Just permed hair can not meet the water, will affect the perm after the modeling effect, three or four days to wash your hair. After the perm do not force combing, it is best to use a wooden comb or horn comb hair, shampoo water temperature should not be too high, the water temperature and our body temperature is about the same. Be sure to use moisturizer, conditioner, hair mask and other skin care products to repair damaged hair, so that the hair to absorb nutrients and restore health.

1γUse the soft shampoo
We can go to the supermarket and the Internet to buy some soft shampoo, this type of shampoo can make our hair become smooth, so that our permed hair will not look frizzy. So the hair will not look so fluffy.
2, use conditioner
Conditioner can give our hair some essence and effect that shampoo doesn't have. Apply the conditioner after shampoo and rinse it off after ten to twenty minutes, which is better for our hair. After washing you will find that the hair will not be so fluffy.
3γNo towel wipe hair
Using a towel to wipe hair will make our hair more and more fluffy, and then let their hair roots damaged. So we can't rub our hair hard. Then how to do? We can use the towel to absorb the water on the hair clean, gently press our hair, so that our hair will not become more and more fluffy because of the role of the towel.
4γNo hair dryer blowing hair root
After we perm hair hair friends more important reason is that the root position of the hair curl is relatively large, looks more chaotic and frizzy. The hot air inside the hair dryer is not good for our hair roots, so we can not use the hair dryer directly blow our hair roots, which makes our hair quality is very damaged.
5γUse of essentia
... keep reading on reddit β‘So I play VR and was gonna play some VR after my hair was permed, but I'm worried, will that ruin the perm? Will that make it stick down to my head if it's weighed down or will it spring back to shape? If it does get damaged, how long do I need to wait?
Hello, my sister permed her hair curly. However she wants it straight again. This was done 2 months ago and we called the salon and they told us that doing a straightening process will definitely damage the hair.
So now weβre wondering what she can do to manage it. Weβre not too familiar with hair styling and products. What would we need to do to keep it straight? (Weekly flat iron straightening?). What products/routines would we need?
Thanks!
I know there is Mild Curse from Actually Ed the Undying and Master of the Surprising Fist from Way of the Surprising Fist which I often use at the beginning of hardcore runs.
Are there any other permable skills you can get from paths?
Back story: My hair is color treated purple. Roots touched up every 6 weeks or so and I use a color-depositing conditioner. My hair is super fine and I was looking for something to give my hair a little bit of body. Back in June I made a bad quick decision to get a perm so my hair would be wavy. I discussed with the stylist my routine and she assured me she would use safe products for my hair and that some color change would happen. It turned my hair kind of green, which I knew would happen so it didn't bother me. The problem is now my super fine hair is knotted all the time. I didn't get waves from the perm, and afterwards I recognized this as a terrible decision if I was going to continue to dye my hair.
Here's where I need help - what kind of brush is best for hair that's knotty? I try to brush my hair before getting in the shower, I am gentle with shampooing and conditioning so as not to mess the hair up too much and then I also try to use a leave in conditioner when I get out in attempt to keep the knots at bay. None of this seems to matter, I can brush my hair so it has 0 knots and 4 seconds later it is completely knotty again.
Any advice for someone that clearly made a stupid decision?
(Also adding that my hair was not this bad before the perm - brushing was never an issue.)
I used to use DevaCurl products but they didnβt do much for my hair in terms of moisturizing & hydration.
Iβve had their low poo shampoo & conditioner, leave in conditioner, and styling gels.
I have asian hair and just permed the top part. In the past Iβve used Shea moisture deep hair mask once a week and Iβll put deva curl leave in conditioner following with one of their styling gels. But once my hair dries, itβs this poofy dry mess.
So can anyone recommend some products thatβll help moisturize my hair and help my curls look healthy, bouncy, and hydrated?
I can find the list of passive skills (full of path specific skills which can't be permed), and skills which can be permed (Full of non-passive skills).
I'm wondering if there is a way to combine those lists - ideally also eliminating non-tradeable sources in the process.
Failing that, does anyone have a list of historically good permanent skills available in the mall for <2,000,000 meat (negotiable). I just bought all the passive +3 elemental resistance skills and would like to keep going with the passive buffs.
I understand that very few of the skills will be standard legal at this point, but that's ok by me.
I use a anti dandruff shampoo and after wash I use a virgin coconut oil to moisturize the hair but doesnβt help much
Also my hair has a lot of split ends if that factors into my curls not popping I do air dry my hair but my curls just lay flat conditioner like Shea moisture or any other brand wonβt work either as I have low prosity hair
Hey everyone! Joined the /r and hoping someone could help with some very specific questions I had. I had straight hair, now permed with big chunky curls (down to upper neck area length).
I know I'm only suppose to shampoo 2x/week.
I think my hair looks the best after a wet shower, don't mess with the hair, and pat out excess water with a towel and let it air dry, THEN sleep (going to bed with damp hair and waking up doesn't look as good, curls are more frizzy and less defined).
QUESTIONS:
(1) is there a tool I could use the following morning to style my hair? a wide-tooth comb or fingers seem to make the chunks less defined and straightens out the curls... is there something designed for this? Or do I need to completely wet my hair the next morning and let it dry out like I do the previous night's shower?
(2) am I suppose to use conditioner every day but only shampoo 2x/week?
(3) is there a category of product that I could use that will create less frizz but with NO shine (or extremely little) and little/no hold?
Lost :) thank you!!! <3
Specifically short. Whereβs the old women with long hair?
Because the shampoo repairs broken bonds and a perm breaks bonds. What other shampoo could I use?
