A list of puns related to "Paulsen"
I am getting back into reading books and I have decided to use Reddit as a log for my thoughts on the books I do read so here is the first one. I just did a reread on βHatchetβ for the first time in 9 years and it still is an amazing book . The book itself is a wonderful piece. There are some scenes in the book that have extreme detail which made me slightly uncomfortable mostly the part with the pilot toward the beginning of the book. The story also talks about the characters background without making it the main part. The book brings up real life problems that most kids of that reading age deal with and I think it is a great read
Curious if anyone might have more details as to why Frida Paulsen left TEP? It seemed like she and coach Adam were close, she was coaching a bunch of women for/with TEP, she was close with other TEP members like Ashley and Phoebe. Plus she did amazing during her Wellness debut last season and she lives in Vegas. It just surprised me recently that she announced she was joining Fit Body Fusion.
> The NBA season began on a mixed note in the ratings.
> Tuesdayβs Warriors-Lakers NBA Opening Night game averaged 3.39 million viewers on TNT, up 10% from Clippers-Lakers on opening night of last season, which took place in December (3.08M), but down 6% from Lakers-Clippers two years ago β the previous Opening Night in the month of October (3.58M).
> Golden Stateβs win delivered the NBAβs second-largest Opening Night audience in the past four years (eight games), behind only the 2019 Lakers-Clippers game.
> Not counting last yearβs Play-in Tournament game, it was the most-watched meeting between LeBron James and Stephen Curry since Christmas 2018. The players have been two ships passing in the night as of late, with James missing much of the 2018-19 and 2020-21 seasons and Curry missing nearly all of 2019-20.
> Earlier in the night, Nets-Bucks chipped in just 2.16 million β down 20% from Warriors-Nets last year (2.70M), down 4% from Pelicans-Raptors in 2019 (2.25M) and the leagueβs smallest Opening Night audience since 2007 (Rockets-Lakers: 2.05M).
> Neither NBA game averaged as many viewers as the competing Major League Baseball League Championship Series games (Braves-Dodgers: 4.36M; Astros-Red Sox: 4.14M), but Warriors-Lakers was Tuesdayβs top draw on all of television in adults 18-34 (1.25), 18-49 (1.31) and 25-54 (1.37).
I'm a fantasy football analyst who was named FantasyPros' Most Accurate Expert of 2010 and 2014. (I finished in the Top 6 in nine of the last 11 years, including a #4 finish in 2020.) My draft rankings ranked #4 out of 32 analysts from 2011-14 and #10 out of 65 analysts from 2015-18. My draft rankings from 2019 were the most accurate of the 105 analysts tracked by Fantasy Nation, and I finished third in the same contest last year. In late July, I published a partially free article: 99 Stats But a Mitch Ain't One. I also just updated my Draft Day Strategery article, but you'll need a subscription to read it.
9:30 am PT Update: 90 minutes of answering questions. I see that some folks are very upset that I linked to a paywalled article in one of my responses. I am truly sorry for breaking the laws of reddit, but it wouldn't be an AMA if a few redditors weren't furious with me. Hopefully you can read through my other responses and get some value out of them. Please upvote any remaining unanswered questions and I'll try to stop by later today and answer the top ones.
Good luck and happy drafting!

My school uses "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen for the novel study in Reading in the 5th grade class. Do you use this novel in your 5th grade class? Do you agree that the content is too mature for 10 years old?
