I am an incoming freshman for the fall of 2021, and I am taking ECON 102 with Wooten. I was wondering what books he requires students to read.
I wanted to order them ahead of time so I can get a headstart on reading whatever books he recommends. I am already reading Freakonomics, so any other recommendations would be great.
Also, If you have any advice for his class then I would appreciate that too!
So, i have been practicing this song for around 4 years straight, oc not very constant but you know... it is not an easy song to play, after some time i believe i got it (not exactly like wooten but whats the point of playing exactly like him anyways xD)

This is one of those crimes that angers and upsets me greatly. It’s about a 16-year-old girl from Ada, Oklahoma in 2005 who was shot and killed by her mother’s ex-boyfriend in a murder-suicide as her (the mother’s) punishment for breaking off a 5-year relationship with him, which was somewhat abusive.
Her mother couldn’t take the control and abuse anymore and ended it for good, but he wouldn’t take “no” for an answer. He hounded her up to the point that he abducted her at gunpoint and he was arrested. Unfortunately, he was able to make bail and he killed her eldest daughter (she had two teenage daughters from a previous marriage) and himself just a few weeks later. Even though she had a restraining order, it didn’t stop him from doing what he wanted to do.
It’s also upsetting that some will go to such lengths to hurt others, especially innocents, because they can’t get what they want or things don’t go their way. It’s truly a heartbreaker.
