Hi there! So, I'm trying my hand at palmistry (pun very much intended). I've figured out which are the obvious lines (head, heart, life) but there are a couple that have stumped me and are making it difficult to read. Feel free to read if you want, but I'm not really asking for a reading, just clarification about which lines I'm looking at.

The long line on the far left of each hand, pinkie side: I'm not sure if I'm looking at my line of intuition, line of success, line of health, or something else.
The wavy line in the Middle of both hands: Is this my fate line or my line of the sun?
The little line that makes a tiny triangle in the center of my "born with" hand and the longer line that makes diamonds and triangles in my "right now in life" hand: I have no idea what this is.
I know that a triangle suggests psychic abilities, but as you can see I have a large triangle where my lines meet, and then a smaller one inside it made by the above little line, so I'm not sure what, if anything, that means.

Can anyone suggest a good book on beginning Palmistry? There are many, but I'd like to find a few that are suggested by knowledgeable people π
I picked up a short 'how-to' guide on palmistry, since it's something I've been curious about for a while, and finally have the time to study, and right off the bat I'm stumped. I got to, on the second page of my guide, elemental hand types. The difference between 'long' and 'square' palms makes enough sense, but I'm not so sure about 'long' vs 'short' fingers. If anyone could help me understand that particular difference it would be much appreciated.
I am new to studying palmistry, but I do not have a type of hand that matches my personality. I have an air hand, but I mostly identify as a water hand. If anyone has any reasons why this is so and how I could possibly read my hand better when things don't match up that would be great. Thanks!

I shouldβve made a post earlier about this but anyway.. A few weeks ago after I posted pics of my hands I received a dm from a rando. They said they would give me a free reading. But that I would have to take a photo of my hands by my face. That is not a normal request! I blocked this person after they kept trying to pressure me to do it. Please be wary and mindful if someone dmβs you with a strange request like that. You donβt know who is asking for those photos and what they might end up doing with them.

Iβm trying to learn how to palm read but Iβm not quite sure where to start and there are no palm readers in my area π small Christian town. What resources did you guys use that you could recommend me? Books and videos wise~
It's been discussed in some analyses the scene where Gordon Cole takes Tammy's hands on the plane and speaks about, as the English subtitles suggest, the "spiritual mound, the spiritual finger".
I don't know if the ambiguity is deliberate, could be, but Gordon's index is pointing clearly on Tammy's Apollo's "mount", and those with some acknowledge of palmistry know what it is about. The mounts of the palm are those swellings under each finger, and the ring finger is the Apollo finger.Ok, but is Gordon doing the correct lecture? No, I wouldn't say so.
Everything Gordon says in The Return is deceptive, and its meaning is far deeper than the literal phrasing. Just before the reading of the hand the FBI task force were discussing Cooper's inverted fingerprints, and Gordon just had made the joke about "very/yrev".
The ring finger is not connected with spirituality, on the opposite is the finger of light, of the ability to live a successful life in reality, to overcome problems, all the qualities connected with the archetype of the sun (https://www.auntyflo.com/palmistry/apollo-mount). Gordon says to Tammy to "think" about that, to dedicate her mind to the Apollinean side, and we should think too. Gordon is an hypnotist, when he speaks he creates a sort of void in the mind of the listener, so that a concept can be introuced. That kind of dialogue is experimented in Lynch's movie INLAND EMPIRE, where dialogues become hypnotic because the sense of the basic conversation is always shifted introducing new lines of communication, disconnected from the sense that is "in the light of the day".
We know the importance of the ring finger in Twin Peaks, and in a post from some months ago I tried to connect the dynamic of the formica ring to the abaissement du niveau mental (lowering of the thinking function) that affects Laura when she sees the ring on Teresa Banks' finger, as if an unconscious knowledge of her father going with young girls was already somewhere in her mind.
