A list of puns related to "Otrs"
Went back to look at the time stamps and couldnβt find them
Okay before I get attacked , I love this show , I am a paying member and these people have really gotten me through some tough times and thatβs the only reason I care enough to make this post .
Like I said ,Iβve been an H3 fan for years now and Iβve always admired how they never gave a shit about anything and spoke their minds, it was refreshing, especially from such huge creators
But after seeing the Trisha part of the last OTF taken down, Iβm disappointed. Trisha is a irredeemable human being (this is coming from someone who watched her for 8 years- God I wish I could get that time back) and for them to constantly give her a pass from criticism because Hila wants to protect her SA brother is β¦.. odd. I can understand that families are hard and they donβt want drama and we arenβt entitled to anything but, the entire reason we even know about this stuff is because they chose to air it. Either donβt talk about Trasha or do. But stop teasing the drama if you donβt want it (E.g βtalking about the wedding video).
Apart from that - while I love all the content I wish they would go back to their roots, the skits are a bit too long and annoyingly (personal opinion) and their criticism of people is heavily weighted by public opinion which is annoying!
WILL THE REAL H3 PLEASE COME BACK!
Driving for 70 hours a week, eating garbage all the time even though itβs not paid for,get treated like shit by other drivers, you can only shower like 3 times a week, in the beginning youβre paid like shit, and on top of all that youβre away from your family for weeks at a time.
This question is mostly for the trucking vets..if you had to give advice which would you rather OTR or Local?
Which has the potential to earn the MOST money?
Building a fam is still the goal. But over this next 2 year period want to really grind and build some capitol thru trucking. Thanks in advance
My family and I have been looking to buy a car to replace our 2011 XUV 500, with safety, comfort, and reliability as priorities. Currently looking at large 5-seater SUVs or 7-seaters, since we're a family of 5 with 3 dogs. Delhi, so unfortunately that rules out Diesels since we're looking to keep the car for 15 years. So 30L for a Petrol AT SUV/MPV? Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a car that meets all our requirements...
Initially we were just going to get the Petrol Innova Crysta, but the higher variants don't have a bench seat in the 2nd row, which is unusable for our 5 people plus 3 dogs trips. Not sure if we're okay with a lower variant with the bench seat, especially with only 2 airbags.
We were also considering an MG ZS EV 2022, but since it's just been comfirmed to get the smaller 51 kw/h battery and not the long-range 72 kw/h, we dropped the idea. Not too keen on the petrol ZS, we were willing to compromise on size for an EV but not for a gas car. The Hector and Hector Plus Automatic only have CVTs, and if MG is still using Jatco transmissions like they did when they were still MG Rover Group of Britain, then those are awful.
Same reason for ignoring the Renault Duster and the Nissan Kicks - Jatco CVT transmissions. Amazingly unreliable.
The XUV700 looked great but waiting periods for the higher models run into the middle of 2023, which sucks haha, can't consider that. We also didn't book it on Day 1 because of reliability concerns with all the high tech infotainment stuff - which appear to be totally valid.
Volkswagen Tiguan is overpriced at launch IMO and the suspension is too stiff, making us unwilling to stretch our budget even if discounts roll in next year. It actually makes potholes feel worse than they are.
Serious reliability concerns about the Jeep Compass Petrol, I wouldn't trust FCA to make a shoebox, let alone a 7 speed DCT, so we're VERY reluctant there.
That leaves the Korean cars - Creta/Seltos/Alcazar/Carens. They're all based off the Hyundai K2 platform which didn't do too well in crash tests, and I have the same reliability concerns with their DCT transmissions. Still considering the Alcazar because the 2.0 Petrol AT comes with a somewhat reliable torque converter automatic, but the platform's low safety is worrying.
Dropped the idea of the current Hyundai Tucson aft

Who or what, and where is The Hammer advertised?
Where can you see a billboard of a knockoff Fabio swinging from a vine and what is being advertised?
In what city / on what interstate will you cross Thor and Freya streets?

20 years ago I regularly volunteered at the Lord's Kitchen where Teak Roughly is located (If memory serves correct). After about two months and feeling like a brave 16 year old I ventured outside of Washington Park and experienced a shooting one block over. 15-20 rounds in the span of 20-30 seconds. I found a stoop and ducked down. The residents didn't even blink, some people didn't even break conversation. It took 45 minutes for District One to respond. Only about then did the corner boys cease their trade and observe them. I think for some if your iPhone was stolen and it took D1 45 minutes to respond you'd be screaming bloody murder. Thank God for 3CDC and the other groups that have restored OTR without creating buildings that resemble"The Mercer" endlessly.
Edit: Thank you to everyone who has made this an informative and constructive discussion. Apparently I need to get drunk and post more often. Also side note, just because you disagree with someone's view doesn't entitle you to attack them. Learn to tolerate other views everyone.
So I'm fairly new, and I'm already getting fed up with eating at the shit restaurants at the truck stops (cept for you country pride, buffalo ranch jalepeno burger π€€) and I'm buying a fridge and a microwave today, so I'm curious, what do you guys do to have decent meals while OTR? I've been looking into huel and freshly so far
I have my class A and 6 months of experience. I want to sell my car, not resign on an apartment, and stay out OTR for a whole year and make as much money as possible so I can to go back to college. Would most companies let me do that and pay more? I mainly want to stay out for an entire year so I donβt have to pay for an apartment. Just grind it out and save the majority of my money and go back to school debt free.
Hey guys, soon to be rookie here. Iβm currently a CDL permit holder in CA, have most of my endorsement tests done, just need to do hazmat and tanker. Iβm currently a dock worker for an LTL, and my initial goal was to get into the apprentice program to drive linehaul, but the more I think about it, Iβm not so sure I want to be tied down to just one facility and a handful of possible routes in the dead of night for forever. I think I want to try my hand at the open road and eventually put my name on the door.
So Iβm looking at joining a mega to get my license. I know itβs probably better to go through a school, but with my current financial situation thatβs not quite possible. I need to get paid to train as I would here. In the effort to avoid Swift and CRE, Iβm looking at Schneider. So far, I like what I see. But Iβm not sure where to start.
Schneider offers CDL apprenticeship opportunities for both the Western 11, and the great 48. I think I want to run the great 48, but is that a big bite for a rookie when I have the option to run regionally? I also donβt want to baby myself.
My ultimate goal I believe still is to some day be my own boss. Get paid to see the country and do it my way. I donβt think I would ever find the opportunity by staying at an LTL, even though I know this is a great place to be too.
TLDR, thoughts on Schneider to springboard a rookie driver? 48 states or stay regional to start?
I havenβt played a dead rising game since the Case West demo on my xbox 360. i can either afford dead rising 4 with all DLC or i can buy dead rising 2 and Off The Record. anybody whoβs played these, could you give recommendations for a new player? iβm generally going to be playing this multiplayer by the way, so insight on which multiplayer is better would be good.
Iβll soon be doing my training over the road and my orientation is on the 24th. From my understanding that like 80% of our time is spent driving. So exactly how does one pack for OTR in the winter.
I was born and raised in SoCal all my life. Ive been to dc as a kid, Arizona for a day for work, and Florida for a weeks for some training so didnβt see much. Iβm look forward to see different parts of the country but also a bit concern about the differences. Here in la, hardly anyone says hello so might take me a while to be comfortable being approach by strangers. Iβve never seen snow before and not very used to the cold. La food options are endless, so I definitely miss eating anything I like. How long before you felt being comfortable on the road and any tips to adapt to new environments?
