A list of puns related to "Origine"
Funset!
My dad almost choked on a small flake of pizza crust, and he spent several minutes coughing in a loud and alarming way.
Finally he stopped, and he was all better. Someone caused him to chuckle, which triggered another fit of coughing.
I said... โThat definitely didnโt go well; I think he had a โre-laughseโ!โ
Like seriously, if I've read one, I've reddit all.
Poetry is good for amateurs; literature is best left to prose.
I've somehow made a hobby of creating (often very nerdy) puns, wordplay, and absurdities. Some of them have been sold on t-shirts. Most of them just end up as a FB status. They are not (at) all great, but they are original, so far as I know. Now I'm going to leave them here.
Yes :)
So the joke Connie makes : Eren's house in japanese is said Ere (Eren) no ('s) ie (house) ga (indicating the subject). Pronounce it, it will sound like Eren Jaeger
Full sentence:
Maybe there's Eren's... Eren's... house ahaha
Moshikashte Ereh no... Ereh no.. ie ga ahaha
Yes in japanese the pun is just waiting to be dropped (like Eren's house). Even if you weren't going to make it.

Sometimes I forget my baseball socks in my sheets.
I call them my 'Lost-in Bed-socks'
OC but not good OC yet. Any input is appreciated. Cheers!
EDIT:Punch line is a joke of the Boston Red Sox, an American baseball team. Lost in bed socks, Boston Red Sox
Hey, I'm currently re-reading the series for the first time in a very long time. It's so much fun to come back after all these years!
And while I was reading the fifth or fourth book(don't remember exactly), I came across a pun that makes sense in norwegian (the language I'm reading in) But in no way could make sense in English.
The pun goes as follows:
Ron is doing his astronomy homework and Hermione corrects him
**Hermione:**Ron, Europa is covered in "ICE", not "fart".
In norwegian, this is a pun that works, since the words for ice and fart are similar (ICE - IS. FART - FIS)
So I was just wondering what the original pun was. The only thing I can think of on my own is Europa being covered in "Rice" or "Lice" instead of "Ice"
And finally, to all my fellow non-native-english-speaking Potter fans, do you have any puns or jokes that are in the translation to your language that you may be wondering what was like in the original? Post yours in the comments, and maybe we can all get some clarity!
