A list of puns related to "Orchard"
I came in cider.
I'm on the autistic spectrum, and her talking up Sheldon Cooper as some "amazing" rep and her mental health video actively telling autistic youths to get medicated and that their personalities are things that should be oppressed for the sake of others absolutely fucking disgusted me. She also shows how bad her understanding is by saying that Rainbow Dash of all characters is also good autistic rep, and says that we "don't want to put in the effort" to go into society, and that we "never read studies and whine about autism speaks". I actually really like her videos, before she said we "just don't want to be happy".
*And deep breath*
If it helps it was four or five white guys around 18 and one of them drove a Tesla with some bull horns attached to the hood.
Update: found the channel for these douche bags. They have a couple hundred followers and just seem to copy stupid pranks like this. Also, pretty sure the dumb ass that βfellβ and hurt his eye already had the busted up black eye, probably from being a piece of shit to the wrong person.
UBC, we have a problem.
I am trying to shed some light on the current situation in Orchard Commons. We continue to have large parties in our buildings, putting the safety of residents and staff in jeopardy. Athletes continue to host and attend large parties, both against the provincial COVID-19 orders and UBC Housing rules.
With the P1 variant, we need to take additional precautions. These two teams have shown blatant disregard and/or do not care.
I suggest that these teams are removed from Orchard Commons as they pose a dangerous threat to the rest of us, students. Coaches should remove these students from all practices and games (if they are happening) because they now threaten infecting other athletes. UBC administration should investigate these incidents, and all students who attend a large gathering (15-20+ people) should receive non-academic misconduct penalties.
Follow the rules, please. They are in place for everybody's safety.
Im not adopted, nor are my kids.
We were just spending time together, watching what's what on Netflix on the weekends, and "Hey Duggee" was there. Cute animation, and cute premise. Then the ending of every episode the "squirrels" have to go home. I was taken aback for a moment, "why is Happy the crocodile had an elephant for a parent?".
My kids asked me that exact same question. Obviously I had to explain that Happy was adopted and not that Happy's birth parents had killed his adoptive parents' babies and they returned the "favor" by killing Happy's birth parents (some fan-fict i read after the fact, LOL).
I honestly think kids' shows like this; cute animation, educational, subtle messages that spark questions, inspire kids to create and explore, are they way to go. I'm NOT looking at you, Larva.
I remember when I was a kid, the UK had "Bob the Builder" and because of that, I am an engineer and anything in this house, a lot of it are DIYs.
Thank you UK, keep doing what you're doing for kids' education through cartoons.
Ps: Sorry for my bad english.
I responded without missing a beat, "That, my son, is a pine apple."
Shoutout to the mom passing by who witnessed and appreciated this gem.
Recently got some land and want to start a small orchard of fruit trees. Worried about cost and money involved. A youtuber recommend reading Masanobu and his technique for no tilling farming.
His book is amazing and a delight to read but wondering if itβs only for rice.
Have you tried it with fruit trees and how were the results for you?
Hello,
Does anyone live in Orchard Park or know the area well?
I have to move house in Cambridge and i'm looking for somewhere safe and quiet. I know Cambridge is lightyears less dodgy than most cities, but I've been burned by living somewhere a little rough for the past 6 months and it's made lockdown quite difficult.
The rooms available in Orchard Park look quite nice, but I've read that north Kings Hedges/Arbury tends to be the rougher side of town?
Any advice for living in Orchard Park or recommendations for anywhere else very welcome! :)
Cops all over the place....corner of Orchard and George.
