Frontieria
The sheriff decided that he needed to stop them so he rounded up his deputies and they rode out in search of the gang.
After a couple of days everyone was tired and hungry so one of the deputies rode up to sheriff and said βLook sheriff we are all too tired, why donβt you guys rest up here and Iβll ride 4 miles north and two miles east and see if I canβt find us some grub?, Iβll be back by morningβ
The sheriff agrees and off the deputy rides 4 miles north and two miles east.
The next morning the deputy returns with all his packs full of bacon! The sheriff says βwhere the hell did you get all that bacon out here in the middle of nowhere!β
Deputy says βwell you see sheriff I rode 4 miles north and 2 miles east and I swear to god thereβs this bacon tree just sitting there! A tree that is full of bacon!β
βBullshit!β Says the sheriff βyou stay here Iβm going to check this out!β
So off the sheriff rides the same as the deputy did.
The next morning the deputy seeβs the sheriff crawling towards the camp with arrows sticking out of his back.
Deputy says to the sheriff β Boss what the hell happened!β
The sheriff looks up from the ground and says βBACON TREE, BACON TREE, that wasnβt a damn bacon tree you idiot it was a Hambush!β
If only the cowboy architects had made the towns big enough for everyone else.
and says, "I don't want no trouble, I'm jus' lookin' fer the man that shot my paw."
It's Sans-Sheriff
Got into an accident and lost his eye. The doc got him a wooden eye to fill the hole. Before the accident he was quite the ladies man, dancing with all the young ladies at the barn dances. But afterwards he never went out, just stayed at home. He knew no woman would ever want him. Finally all his buddies came by and grabbed him and took him to a barn dance. He was just looking at all the pretty young ladies, afraid to ask any to dance. He noticed the one heβd never seen before, she was beautiful. But as he looked at her, he saw that she had a peg-leg. Well, sheβd dance with him. So he walked over to her and asked βwould you like to danceβ she replied with excitement β would I, would I? And he replied βpeg-leg peg-legβ
Howdy, pardoner.
There was a 3 legged dog. After a long journey, the dog walks into a small mining town in the desert. In the town, there's a saloon, the type with the swinging doors. The dog walks through and stands in the entrance, everyone stops what they are doing and the saloon goes quiet...
The dog stares down the place and says,
"I'm Looking for the man who shot my Paw."
"What's the best breed for horses like those you'd see in the old west movies," he asks the owner, "my mares are just like that." The owner thinks for a minute, then replies "Dachshund."
The man is surprised, and replies "are you sure about that? I was picturing something bigger that wouldn't get trampled on." The owner nods, and says "Yup, it's just like the movies - if you want your horses to behave, you get a long little doggie."
...a wagon train was heading out west. Inside one of the wagons, a man lay on his deathbed with friends and family gathered 'round. He gestured to his best friend, who leaned down to hear what the dying man had to say.
"My friend," he whispered, "I'm not gonna make it, but I wanna be remembered. When you get to where you're going, I want you to name a town after me."
"You betcha," his friend says. "Anything for you, Al."
Then the man gestures to his best friend's son, who likewise leans down to hear the dying man's last words.
"Boy, make sure your old man keeps his promise to name a town after me."
The boy answers, "Yes, Sir, Mr. Buquerque."
Years ago I used to use a LexisNexis database of companies that would give corporate information like name, address, and general business description. While most of them were pretty bland, there were a bunch of them with some really cheesy puns, and over a few years I built quite a collection.
Today I share with you "NEXIS IS RIDICULOUS.txt":
