A list of puns related to "Oer"
I'm still getting over Covid a bit and I heard from my supervisor that I could get credit for my sick day absence if I contact OER? Does anyone know what their contact info is?
I'm not sure if it's a typo "OER" or "GOER"?
Any free advice for an O with shitty OERs trying to VTIP?
For the hecklers: Number 1 and onion rings, plz.
Writing my first OER any tips? ( Yes I'm a butter bar & I'm lost )
So one of my classes this semester says that my textbook and lab manual are both "OER's". Gone to website after website, I cannot find this book, and I don't even know if I'm trying in the right place.
I tried some more, about 30 minutes. Now up to two hours and I still have no idea what I'm doing. Help?
Hey yβall, recently the new OER guidelines have been released and after having a while to look over them, what are yβallβs opinions? Taking service out was a huge plus for me in my situation, but what do yβall think about the stricter parts of the pizza grading and critical violations, along with the stricter store image/maintenance/ cleanliness?
I've read up too 2900 and I still don't know why she's so special
Does anyone have that damn chart with OER comments and what they're actually saying? That thing is like fucking Narnia and I can never find it when I'm actually looking for it.
I have heard oer has lessened their requirements on service (adt/ singles rates etc) I work at an understaffed store, and I'm just wondering.. do they still care about singles as much? We are constantly taking doubles and triples as much as possible to keep up. I have a driver that has been there for a long time telling me to take singles to better our singles rate... But then that just turns into extremes! Our Fridays are around $10,000+ . When we are all taking doubles and triples things run smoothly. I guess my question is how important is singles rate with oer during covid Thanks
I'll be starting my first year teaching next week. I will be teaching middle school world history and I will be given OER Project to use as curriculum.
I've gone over the website and gone over the different guides provided for the curriculum but I still can't figure out how to pace each lesson and unit. I see a ton of readings, and a number of videos and activities per LESSON but none of this seems like it could fit in a standard 50 min class period.
Is there something I'm missing? How can I better understand this resource?
Thanks!
I recently posted about students cheating so Iβm switching from the book entirely and using the World History Project. 1. Bc I think it will provide a better narrative and deeper thinking than the text and the additional resources Iβve been using. And 2. I think it will be more difficult to cheat.
HOWEVER, I see for some questions, there is a βpossible answerβ part on the teacher version. People who have used OER, how hard is it for students to access the teacher version? How hard is it for students to cheat using this curriculum?
Bc what I found pretty quickly was that if I assigned the text, the answers are already on quizlet or somewhere. Started changing the questions, still found a teachers key or something to cheat. Changed question completely, still just copied and pasted from google.
Iβm on a quest to make my class better and more cheat proof, but I think a lot of the cheating is the disconnected way the text presents things. So I want to move towards all instruction coming from OER in the future and wondered how the class faired (I think theyβll struggle less to understand and therefore cheat less).
Does OER still go through the entire store or do they mostly focus on food prep and expiration dates? Like would they check the sanitizer sink for proper ph?
My PSG and I got back from that border mission a couple months ago and the Captain we were assigned to at the end never signed our OER or NCOER. We've tried contacting him multiple times with his first sergeant cc'd to it but neither of them ever respond.
Does anybody know what happens if we just dont recieve one?
Iβm willing to bet thereβs someone on here nerd enough about the Army to answer this one.
Who writes the OERs for personnel at the 4-Star level? Is the CSA rater for each Command level CG? Who senior rates? And who rates the CSA or the CJCS?
After a couple of years, my community college is running our 200-level quant methods in the social sciences course! No one wants to teach it except the economist, and I jumped at the chance.
Since it's been a few years since we ran it, there isn't much institutional memory of what was on this. I came from a university that had stat classes in econ, poli sci, soc, and psych that were all cognate to each other and I want to run this course that way if possible. I'm planning to have the students use RStudio for the programming component because it's zero cost and has a lot of datasets importable.
I've browsed around the state's OER repository and gotten a few sample texts, but does anyone have any recommendations for texts or resources you've used recently that might work well? I've been out of this area for some time and don't want to rely on my outdated memories of the best texts.
Hello friends,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, so please forgive me (and delete if necessary). I'm in the process of looking ahead to my Spring 2022 course development, and I'm a huge fan of OER. I'm developing a Human Sexuality class (yes!) and a Family/Domestic Violence class (also yes, but a more somber one), but I'm getting stuck in finding good resources.
I've tried all the old haunts, and I'm getting the sneaking suspicion that I might have to piece these courses together with open source resources, rather than having the nice "skeleton" of a textbook to provide the course structure and filling in the "meat" with contemporary articles, case studies, etc. of my own.
If anyone has any ideas or knows of any good OER resources, I'm all ears (eyes).
Was informed today that as of 9/10/2021 that OER visits are a thing of the past. We now will be subject to βOperations Assessmentsβ visits that will be announced visits starting in November and then transition to unannounced visits some time during 2022. Curious to see how this plays out...
I have a pizza trailer. I want to run a freezer and a refrigerator from a solar panel set up. When I am operating at an event, I'll be on shore power or generator power. I just need to calculate how much solar power I'll need to run the freezer and refrigerator. Id like the solar to keep those items running all of the time, although, at least two or three days would be good.
refrigerator states 6.5 amps, 115 volts. freezer states 2.3 amps, 115 volts
I like saving students money. In my unspecified discipline, OER texts arenβt even close to being as good as regular textbooks, and thereβs no replacement for real books (those published by publishers) by OER by definition. Promote OER alternatives but donβt act like Iβm a monster because I donβt use the crappy free version that doesnβt cover material or whatever
Had a discussion with my rater last week and she informed me I would be receiving an extended annual OER, instead of annual
I was I hoping for an annual so I could PCS out of here (Korea) but like a good little droid I will comply. She informed me it would be better for me, but I was wondering can anyone provide anymore guidance
So hyped man, Iβve been a GM for like 4 months, and i took over the store with no serivce points and actually got hit on my first week and got a 2. 4 months later and we get hit again, and now Iβm a 5 star manager. First one in our franchise in a long time. Couldnβt have done it without my team but damn it feels good πππ
Can anyone here elaborate more on the new standards? And if itβs true that the first one will be announced ?
Due to the lack of employees and drivers...our times are in the toilet. Everyone is overwhelmed and overworked. And yet we still have the threat of OER showing up (usually at the busiest times) to rate the store. While everything is in date, and the store is presentable. We're screwed. Understaffed, and having brand new employees (hired off the street, because that's what we're forced to do) and bonuses linked to our ratings... Is it Domino's goal to make all of the their GM's quit and work at pretty much any other restaurant that's hiring? (for the same or better pay) Check the stores out. But suspend ratings! I'm sorry corporate needs to get their heads out of the sand!
