I've been researching cookies from around the world and was intrigued by cinq centimes. I understand they are classified as street food, but would anyone have a recipe or pictures of what they would normally look like? Thanks in advance! :)
I found around 24 kg (or 53 lbs) of letters in an old attic. Those letters are from 1850 to 1880. I only checked a few letters. It seems that they are all stamped with "20 centimes" "Empire France" blue colored stamps. Some letters may be stamped with other stamps but it's very likely 95% are the blue ones.
To measure the amount of letter i did a sampling (100 letters = 350 grams => 24000 grams = 6800 letters give or take a few 100s.

Is there a market for such bulk ? I'm interested in selling (i'm not collecting stamps, i have others collecting hobbies that are expensive).
I can sell worldwide. I can send package of 500 or 1000. The stamps are still on the letters. I do not wish to cut each letter to reduce the weight (my wrist would hurt a bit).

Letters are handwritten in old french (can't read it, even if i'm french), paper size is what was standard back then. Paper is blue or white/pearl (mostly due to age). The content of the letters is business related (alcohol & chestnut trading in Brittany).
The majority of the stamps are in perfect shape.

J'ai pas pris des verres haut de gamme ni même de montures, c'est 92 € par verre. Un peu cher à mon goût mais pas déconnant, et ma mutuelle m'aide en remboursant un tiers du prix. Mais le fait que la sécu soit grand prince en m'offrant 3 centimes par verre me reste en travers de la gorge quand même. J'espère ne pas trop agrandir el famoso "trou de la sécu" en lui en prélevant autant.
Ça fait un peu mal au cul de payer des impôts pour un tel résultat mdr. Elle rembourse quoi la sécu au final ?
