A list of puns related to "Obligee"
1st question: In 50/50 Custody in NH, is the obligee simply the person making less money? If you change or lose jobs, or get a big raise, does that role switch?
This is the NH child support calculator: https://business.nh.gov/dhhs_Calculator/
Let's say I make $75000/y and she makes $65000/y. With 3 kids. Our agreement is 50/50. Mon-Wed & Wed-Fri, then alternating weekends. Everything else is based on odd vs even years. So it's very legit 50/50. I even moved to be within walking distance so my children can have same neighborhood friends etc. and let her have the duplex, so her rent is approx. $4-500/m vs my 1250 for a smaller place. I know that doesn't end up on the calculator. But perhaps a judge might take it into consideration.
Currently child care is 2123 & her medical insurance for all 3 kids is 176. (fields 8A&8B)
NEXT QUESTION: Why is child care and medical only the responsibility of obligee? So if I became the obligee, but she paid childcare and medical insurance, what amount would go in those boxes? Am I misunderstanding those fields?
Based on the calculator, with the info I've given I pay $420/week even though things are 50/50. I am looking for a different job but will likely get less pay based on the area. At first I punched in the numbers and it said I would STILL be giving her $380/week making less than her. This seemed INSANE. But then after googling. It seems as though I would be the one to get child support as I'd be making less.
I'm wondering just what I asked in the title. I believe the statute of limitations on taking legal action for breach of private contract in MN is a maximum of 6 years, depending on the situation. Can anyone tell me whether that also applies to a public authority such as a County?
This statute is relevant I think, but the limitation stated here is that it's "subject only to any contractual restrictions binding upon the obligee."
https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/?id=469.037
Example: Bob enters into a contract with the County which requires both parties to complete some action. Bob fulfills his obligation under the contract, but the County does not fulfill their obligation. How many years must pass before Bob can no longer take legal action against the County due to a statute of limitations?

Go post NSFW jokes somewhere else. If I can't tell my kids this joke, then it is not a DAD JOKE.
If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.
Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???
Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.
Thank you,
A Dad.
So far nobody has given me a straight answer
I am currently in the hospital. I had a back operation yesterday. The surgical nurse came in my room and started asking questions about my back. She asked me if I had any falls during the last year. I responded just one. It was after summer.
She laughed and said in 20 years of doing this she never was told that joke.

This happened a few years ago when my son was 6ish. When my kids hurt themselves and it doesnβt look serious I always do the βwe might have to amputate that bruised handβ shtick with them. Iβve done it enough that they now roll their eyes.
So, my son got hit lightly in the face with a rubber ball. It wasnβt a hard hit and I could tell he was more upset by the shock of it rather than the pain. So I say βlooks like we will have to amputate your nose.β To which he replies βthen how will I smell?β And I say βterrible!β
It was my greatest dad joke ever. I felt like I could retire after that.

Cred once again my sis wants credit lol
Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.
I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.
When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."
From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"
Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.
Edit: Thanks for all the awards, kind strangers! I'll let my son know y'all enjoyed his joke too!
I heard parents named their children lance a lot.
