I've been wondering this for a while. In the western suburbs of Edinburgh, still within the City of Edinburgh Council area, a few places have an EH28 postcode with NEWBRIDGE as the post town. Why isn't it just EDINBURGH? I mean, GLASGOW covers plenty of places outside the city proper, and the likes of Ingliston aren't exactly distant. Newbridge itself is piddly in size, too. Even Ratho is bigger.

Also, do you think EH6 will ever have its post town changed to LEITH, or would it be too much hassle?

As the title says. Does anyone happen to have the Newbridge silverware 2015 Christmas decoration? It is the year our mam passes and I really want to get it for my dad as a present.
