SG1-S9E15 Ethon - Regarding the chain of command in Cheyenne Mountain

So general Landry is out on a military meeting in Washington, and this issue arises and now SG1 is given free reign to just make any decisions and go anywhere they want to? Wouldn't it make sense to have several people under him? So have to phone someone before going off to another planet or just taking a Billion dollar hyperdrive space craft on a joy ride? And if course SG1 regularly takes an entire ship with just the 4 of them no backup. Wouldn't such a ship be staffed for repelling invaders and making repairs and regular ship functions? Sometimes they treat it like a car they grab their keys in SGC and just drive it out of the motor pool.

Do hills only appear around larger mountain chains?

I'm working on a map and trying to decide on the placement of various landforms. I know where my mountains occur, but I'm not sure I really understand hills. I know hills can be formed by the same forces that make mountains, but can hills form randomly in the land or no?

Mountain pass highway and snow chains question

I was looking to head over/into the mountains some upcoming weekend, just for a snowy getaway, and I am trying to sort out snow chains. When do I put them on? I saw online to NOT using them unless there is unplowed snow/ice on the road, however the "chain up" spots were like miles before the snowfall started last time I went over there. Am I supposed to take them on and off every like 10 minutes as the road changes?

Also having a mini Cooper (not countrymen) I am not even sure how to put them on a car with such lower clearance into the wheel well.

What's the most effective or efficient way to finish the spotted shrooms (water shrooms) chain? Are misty mountains sufficient or should I buy the dangerous chests?πŸ€”

I'll cut to the chase: I have 2 unbubbled and 4 bubbled misty mountains because I was working on the hill chain and was planning to do the water shroom chain afterwards. I searched on the wiki and found that while occult chests (which I used for the hill chain) max out at a price of 550 stone bricks, dangerous chests (which give water and water shrooms) max out at 700 stone bricks. That's going to add up to a looot more stone grinding. So I'm wondering if that's the most efficient route or if I should just clean up my camp space and put all 6 misty mountains on the board and use them instead πŸ˜…πŸ₯²

What do you guys think is the best way to finish the chain? I've already completed the magic shrooms (bush shrooms) chain. :)

Thank you πŸ’–

^(side note for the curious, I'm moving on to the water shrooms bc I will save finishing the hill chain for the camp quests that prompt me to finish it off.)
