So i was looking at the operators bios, and noticed that 3 of the spetznaz ops had relevant experience in (REDACTED) and came to the conclusion that this was the moscow theater hostage crisis that involved the spetsnaz but went badly as a large amount of hosteges died during the rescue. Can someone confirm this is the point there going for? Really intrested to know!

RIO DE JANEIRO β In the latest development of todayβs tragic terror attacks, anti-government terrorists, believed to be affiliated with the Freedom Fighters of Brazil with support from ISIS, have stormed the Theatro Municipal in the center of Rio De Janeiro, killing several people and taking many more hostages.
At 5:14 PM, 40 armed men stormed the packed Theatro Municipal, killing 2 security guards and 6 civilians. The armed men have taken control of the theater, fortifying it and blockading all exits. They are believed to hold an estimated 650 hostages. The Brazilian government has been working to identify hostages. Due to the theater being a popular tourist attraction, many of the hostages are foreigners, and currently identified hostages include citizenship from the USA, Portugal, France, Poland, Turkey, Switzerland, Russia, Algeria, Israel, Japan, Italy, and Syria. Brazilian police and special forces trained in counter-terrorism have surrounded the theater, and are currently at a standoff with the terrorists, attempting to negotiate for the peaceful release of the hostages with them. The Brazilian government has assured civilians and foreign governments alike that it is responding appropriately to the situation, and is working to resolve the hostage crisis.
