I and a group of friends would like to have a trip to Mombasa this December. However we are on a low budget so we'd prefer cheap but good quality accomodation near the coast for 4 nights. Anyone know a good place? Thank you.

Just something that I thought I'd write for anyone who may be interested in doing this. I also think that some of my experiences, along with any tips or advice shared may also apply to other parts of Africa.

If one is in Mombasa city for a day, are there any good, local roasters that they can pick coffee beans from? A friend of mine is in the city and I asked him to get me some beans, so I was wondering if I could ask him for something specific for pour overs. Was the original Halo 2 "city explosion" in New Mombasa suppose to reveal the Ark on Earth?
Genuinely curious as the original cinematic depicts the city being blown up and not simply be affected by a little wind. Or did Bungie simply retcon it so that they could push out Halo 3:Recon/ODST after Halo Chronicles was cancelled?
