Honestly, Minho as a person did not really change. Except, he came from a family that respect rules and so his misunderstanding with Key (when he told Key about seniority) back then was understandable. The video above clearly shows his reservations on how he acts. I'm glad he came out of his shell very early on.
I've often wonder if people understood the great ordeal Minho had about his football dream. Minho as a child was turned down by his father to pursue football because it's too hard for him. To a child, that might sound like his father doesn't have belief and expectations of him, as if he had no talent. Minho's competitiveness stemmed from his rivalry with his brother after all.
I can't imagine how painful to a child to give up his dream. But this brings me to my next realization. I think back then Minho's goal was to make his father proud,not necessarily a career (like his marine choice). So he was willing to accept his father's decision.
Have you ever thought how wonderful it is that Minho who had no previous attachment to music or entertainment had stayed in the industry for so long even though so many others who do had dropped out earlier? Of course, I do realize the opportunitues were different. SHINee came from SM, all 5 members debuted with 2 years of training more or less only. Minho's visuals. But throughout the years, Minho made sure it's not his face that his known for.
Minho made me think of what a visual is. I got into SHINee back in 2010 and I wouldn't say I'm a fan of KPOP since I only ever loved and followed SHINee but a visual position was so weird to me. But Minho made me believe it's not the face but the overall personality of that person makes a visual.
Minho had shown hardwork and improvement go hand in hand, a completely flawless reputation (not bringing shame to his family which obviously include the members is his top priority) and his face is merely a bonus. When I think of a proper visual, I think of Minho because he represents SHINee well.
I'm just really proud of him. He's older but I treat him as my son (lol). I'm an OT5 fan so I have very strong feelings for all my boys.
ACE, BASE, FACE, VOICE are the existing album names for the other 4 members. What name would continue the trend/complete the set if Minho releases one? Tell me ideas!

I'm studying Civil engineering in University of Ljubljana in Slovenia and I will be doing a semester of my studies abroad via Erasmus.
Because of beautiful landscape, delicious food and wonderful people Portugal is my top choice. I would much appreciate if anyone could give me their honest opinion about the faculties, cultural differences and life in general.
- Here Civil engineering studies are considered one of the hardest in the country. Is that also the case in Portugal?
- I have an option to go to FEUP, IST or Universidade Do Minho. How do they rank in terms of quality?
- I was thinking of going to faculty I wouldn't need to study 8-10 hours a day every day during the year because I would like to experience the culture and everything the country has to offer. What faculty is the best option in terms of that and do professors cut Erasmus students some slack?
- What do Braga, Porto and Lisbon have to offer in terms of entertainment, night life, sights, events and culture?
- How safe are this cities? Are there any parts I should avoid?
- What is general knowledge of English? Is learning good Portuguese essential?
- I'm a football fan so I would love to see some matches there. What are the prices of the tickets and are they quickly sold out? Is there an option to buy some package?
- Essential things to try/experience when I'm in Portugal?

I have realized that as each member swaps out being and idol and their military duty I come to learn about the rest of members as individuals people so with that, right now I really love minho and I wanna gush about him a bunch right now, so feel free to join in,
Heβs just so handsome and so smart and has such a good heart, just thinking about him makes me wanna cry, heβs so kind and his love for other people is otherworldly, heβs got perfect proportions, and amazing side profile. Iβve never seen someone so perfect!!
Like I can't explain why and I'm not talking about the aging part. I mostly get the impression from his selfies. Idk if they are edited or untouched but he looks different.
First off, let me say I enjoyed the SM Town livestream concert way more than I thought I would. Also, I haven't cared much about their connected universe, Kwangya.
BUT!
It was cool to connect Minho's (SHINee) Heartbreak MV with U-Know's (TVXQ) Thank You MV.
In Heartbreak, there is a phone booth and a glitching lighter and a cool red car, as well as at least 3 different Minhos.
In Thank You, U-Know is betrayed by his mob boss and then takes revenge, slaying everyone. It is a killer MV that is like a short film, complete with plot and fight choreography and blood.
During the SMCU concert, a little video shows Minho getting a call in a phone booth and writing down something on his hand. The caller was U Know. Minho takes a briefcase into his cool red car and delivers it to Changmin of TVXQ, driving through wasteland.
U Know also plays with a lighter and sets a phone booth on fire.
There's probably a whole lot more connections and meanings, but we at least know that Minho is a messenger for gang boss U Know.
I also think in SMCU/Kwangya, Minho (or his car) must have the ability to travel between worlds. From what I gather, Kwangya is all about different worlds existing in a universe. Whether or not the song Heartbreak is lyrically related to travelling between worlds, I have no clue. But it makes the MV make more sense!
