Before I respond to your policy questions, I wanted to thank you for your congratulations and expressions of confidence. I too share a deep concern for the well-being of veterans, and I also share a familial history with the Armed Forces. A great deal of their experiences led me to the political positions that I hold today on a wide variety of issues, including on matters of Defence. We must always remember that war has costs, and those who suffer these costs must continue on long after the war has ended. It is an obligation on behalf of all of us to create a society that is welcoming and accommodating to those who have made such tremendous sacrifices for our country and for the well-being of peoples across the world. In many ways, these concerns for veterans' support is fundamentally connected with the need for support by millions of people suffering from disabilities, trauma, and economic insecurity.

1. 2% of GDP is the NATO standard because it is effective and fair. Defence spending must be balanced with the broader development of our country as a whole, and indeed, ensuring that our population is as productive as possible and our citizen's talents are as well cultivated as possible are both prerequisites to being competitive on the global stage, particularly in matters of Defence. “Military prowess,” is a relative question rather than an absolute one, we can cultivate and maintain the necessary comparative advantage to achieve our strategic goals with 2% spending so long as we spend efficiently and cut back on bureaucratic waste. Quixotic overspending is often more burdensome than meaningful and can create a dangerous sunk cost fallacy that leads to overly risky deployments.
2. This Government is committed to ensuring that veterans have as easy of a transition back into civilian life as possible, and this in general means having well-funded and accessible public services for everyone. While there are likely to be cases where programs and departments will need to enumerate an aspect of a policy in order to maximise the benefit for veterans, on the whole, I believe there is value in ensuring that veterans are not unnecessarily othered in distinct programs that can carry stigma, such stigma can hinder the value of the programs themselves. Would anyone else like to see a Dragoon / Marquess / Hussar buff? These weapons seem highly unremarkable other than the 600mm range. Not particularly powerful, no secondary effects, expensive to level…

The best things about this family of weapons seem to be their visual effects in remastered and their accuracy. Thoughts?

Perhaps I've only played WR well past their prime, but have have these tier 4 weapons ever been relevant?

(Aside from the above observations, there's no real justification for this buff — I realize meta weapons cannot exist without non-meta weapons to provide contrast).
