Is manchego cheese just a tourist or restaurant cheese? Because I buy cheese at the grocery store (alcampo, carrefour, mercadona) all the time and can't remember seeing manchego cheese in the cheese aisle.

Manchego and Lankaaster cheese?
I am on the hunt for these two cheeses for my Christmas charcuterie board I am making this year.
Does anyone know where I can buy these cheeses in kingston? I know Tango has them on their menu (thatβs where I have had them before), but I wonder if I can buy it myself?
If anyone has a leadβ¦ Iβd appreciate it.

Help me identify: a cheese that smells like manchego, what is it?
Hi!
I just tried eating manchego for the first time and its smell brought me memories of another cheese.
I used to have this cheese that was super soft and smooth. It was wet - like the manchego I bought had a wet layer of greasiness on the surface. And it smelled exactly like manchego cheese.
However when I tasted the manchego, manchego is hard textured, that is super different. It's hard to realize what the taste difference or similarities are. I think manchego has got a more discrete flavor than that other cheese.
That cheese I used to have was kind of like The Laughing Cow in terms of presentation: circular cardboard box, but yellow and with a tiger; little triangular cheeses inside. Unfortunately I never ate the laughing cow cheeses so I can't compare with it.
The flavor is very unique and I can say, since I have had these, it's not like gouda, feta, parmesan, mozzarela, or ricotta. Perhaps the texture is more similar to balls of mozzarela cheese.
Please help me find the name of this cheese (doesn't even have to be the brand however if you know the brand that'd be neat so we're sure it's the right one).

Great manchego cheese sale shoutout
Note: I do not represent these guys whatsoever. I just wanted to share news of my great haul.
I highly recommend gourmet-food.com right now to take advantage of their excellent BOGO manchego sale if you live in the US. It is better IMO than the costco manchego which is priced similarly. They also have chili chego at a big discount which is great too, though definitely spicy.
