A list of puns related to "Mabinogi"
What makes you choose mabinogi over other mmos? Also why do you spend money on lootboxes if you do? Do you ever feel regret over spending sometimes?
I want to start playing this since I don't find any interesting mmorpg, the only one that I really liked is Aura Kingdom and it's super laggy for some reason even when my pc is so good, also I like maplestory but I'm looking forward to new experiences, so, is it worth to start now?
I'm approaching the end of S4 in Vindictus and I'm kinda looking for a different content for my Odysee channel. I like digging around MMOs because they're free and Mabinogi is right there on the launcher. Not to mention iirc Vindy is a prequel(?) to Mabinogi? I tend to favor casual games that I can express my creativity in. Is Mabinogi right for me?
So I am pretty charmed by the overall style of this game, it is a really cute looking game and despite being released 10 years ago, still holds up pretty well.
I get through the tutorial before heading off into the first town and I meet up with the locals. I really like the skill focus system, where you get levels in individual skills rather than picking classes. It's clever and well implemented and plays into that whole "This is your new life" idea that the game is going for.
But now I must ask the community this because I think something's gone wrong.
I'm fine with the fast levelling thing that the game has at the start but it seemed balanced enough with the quests... then I met Blannaid. She asks me to rebirth as part of helping her write our memoir together and thats all good (for the record I picked Martial Arts because those special attacks look awesome) and when I wake up... I'm at Level 123!?
I went from 11 to 123 just like that? Have I done something wrong? Please help

I've always been fascinated by games like Mabinogi. Sure the big MMOs like WoW get all the attention but what about those games that build its audience and just keep trundling along, pushing out updates and keep a solid player base that keep it going for years on end.
So I decided to finally bite the bullet and play the game myself and see what its all about. But I didn't want to just do it alone so I decided to also keep this journal to keep up with progress. I hope to meet all of you along the way so lets hope this journey into fantasy is a great one.

Hey guys! So I was just curious about the VIP service in the game. I was doing a bit of research and people said that the korean version has a better VIP service than the NA version, so it's not worth getting. What're you guys' opinions on this? Is the VIP service worth investing in?
I played mabinogi back in 2012, I lived in a country with very poor internet so I could do semi effectively was smash and counterattack, so eventually I gave up because content was to hard. but I keep having nostalgic wants to return today. Should I leave my rose tinted goggles on? If I come baback, how has the game changed?
Part of me was kinda interested in logging on again after 5 years away from the game, but is it worth it? When I actually did play consistently, most of the players just AFKed for days.
Does anyone know the game engine that the devs used to make maninogi?
A lot of people have said it's dead but after ignoring advice and taking a dive in, I've discovered it's actually relatively populated these days. That and I get the vibe that new players are well appreciated by the community.
What I mean by that is most people seem to understand that the game is a bit older and slept on by most so they tend to take every opportunity to be kind and show new players the ropes and give assistance where needed.

For those who aren't in the know, Josh is a youtuber/twitch streamer who looks for relatively obscure MMOs to play in a series where he's trying to find the worst MMO ever. Despite the title of the series, he doesn't actually consider all the games he plays on it bad. Hell, he outright praises some of the games like Rift and Guildwars 1. While his videos involves critically assessing flawed MMOs to determine why they have failed, his reviews have ironically had an opposite affect in many cases where players try out games they've never heard of or go back to games they played in the past for nostalgia purposes. Taking his rapidly growing viewership into consideration, I feel like if Josh were to review Mabi, it could potentially help bring in more new and/or returning players while of course getting some of the woes of the playerbase to nexon's attention(not that they'll do anything about it but a man can hope lol)
I mainly came back to see how it's doing and ended up doing stuff, lots of stuff. I'm on the Nao server, but considered swapping to Alexina at times. If only if pets were universal instead of being stuck to one server. lol (I don't want to spend more money just to have the same pets on a different server)
I main an Elf named "Faenor" and all my friends I did have on there have long since left so.. kinda just been soloing through everything. Right now I am trying to get the Druid talent, and I think I only need to rank up Apothecary now.
