Going to watch the truck race. Any suggestions ? coolers, ear plugs, other advice ? Will be going with all adult family and maybe my 7yo daughter.
My in-laws helped my wife and I a lot while we transitioned between houses and we want to do something nice for them. My FIL is a nascar fan but has never been to a race, despite living only 2 1/2 hours from Charlotte. I know nothing about track seating really and want a little advise. I've seen the "Walmart deal" $99 for 4 tickets but I assume those are fairly crummy seating? Either turn 4 of the diamond terrace. What makes a section/row/seat good on the track? Any advise or help on decent deals. If I can find a good last minute deal for the BOA500 that would be great. Otherwise I'd shoot to get something for next season.

Nashville Superspeedway has re-branded their logo as well, it looks like the name of the track will stay the same though.
Seems like not that many people have talked about the topic in the title, but I wish to facilitate a discussion on the similarities between the two tracks.
If you look at the gradual straightaway-banking transitions at Homestead-Miami Speedway and compare them to those at Atlanta Motor Speedway’s backstretch transition and Old Config. Atlanta Motor Speedway’s transitions, they seem identical.
A question raised in my mind: Considering Homestead-Miami’s reconfiguration after the 2002 season (into the fast high banked oval), was one of the purposes of said reconfiguration to model the old Atlanta configuration? The only difference between those tracks were the banking in the turns (18-20 degrees of progressive banking at Homstead-Miami compared to 24 degrees for that of the old Atlanta configuration).
Does anyone have any information on this topic to share?
