This year, Binance Smart Chain aims to build cross-chain financial infrastructure that unlocks the Internet of Value. By wrapping DUSK as BEP20 tokens on the Binance Smart Chain, the companies take their first step towards large scale adoption of DeFi applications.

“A lot of the disruptive potential of DeFi lies in solutions that satisfy institutional requirements, so that we can attract more real-world assets and use cases”, as reported in the Binance Smart Chain 2021 Roadmap, Vision and Trends. Regulated Decentralized Finance (long for RegDeFi) is particularly well-suited for real-world use cases that satisfy institutional requirements.

“DeFi applications allow for new methods of creating and transferring assets. If these methods are to disrupt the global financial industry, adoption is needed. And adoption requires adherence to the existing rules and regulations, no matter how fragmented and different these applications are across the global markets. RegDeFi achieves this.”

The first step of the integration has been made. DUSK can be withdrawn from the Binance CEX as BEP20 DUSK tokens on the Binance Smart Chain. The ongoing collaboration is now focused on the creation of a more direct method of transferring tokens via the Binance Bridge.

New privacy-preserving solutions In the mid term, the collaboration brings opportunity for new privacy-preserving use-cases in the BSC DeFi ecosystem. After Dusk Network’s release, solutions like enhanced transactional privacy for wrapped tokens (e.g. wrapped BNB), privacy-enhanced DeFi applications, and regulated digital assets are to satisfy institutional requirements. We expect to announce the emission of wrapped BNB for transaction privacy on the Dusk Network mainnet.

My understanding of what anarchists believe is that a decentralized dual power movement would be expanded until it had the ability to overtake the government, after which a revolution would take place with the aim of minimizing violence and establishing autonomy for the sake of sustainability. Carbon quantum dots (CDs) have inspired vast interests due to their prominent photoluminescence (PL) performances and promising applications in optoelectronic, biomedical and sensing fields. Notably, the development of effective approaches for large‐scale CDs production may greatly promote the further advancement of their practical applications. In this review, the newly emerging methods for the large‐scale production of CDs are summarized, such as microwave, ultrasonic, plasma, magnetic hyperthermia and microfluidic technology. Then, we introduce the available strategies for constructing CDs/polymer composites with intriguing solid‐state PL. Particularly, the multiple roles of CDs are emphatically presented, including fillers, monomers and initiators. Moreover, the typical applications of CDs/polymer composites in light‐emitting diodes, fluorescent printing and biomedicine are outlined. Finally, we discuss their current problems and speculate on their future development.

I am a clan leader for the Destiny Reset Podcast. Our discord server is home to 7 clans and our goal is to find ways to allow our members to interact and matchmake across all the clans. I tested using the100.io bot in a smaller server and was really pleased with it and I am hoping that there is a way to integrate it on a large scale into our server of approximately 900 active users across all three platforms.

Is it possible for the100.io bot to handle that many unique users? Does anyone have any tips or guidance for how to set it up for so many people? Any other issues that I should be aware of?

We, as a community, are always looking for ways to improve our users experience and from what I have seen on a small scale the100.io discord integration could really help our members.

Decentralization of real-time data is a huge part of the Streamr project. As the global production of data grows every day, especially with the wider adoption of IoT, more peer-to-peer solutions for big data might become necessary to increase throughput. Until mature P2P MapReduce style solutions are available, we must to fall back to centralized solutions when training ML models etc for the foreseeable future. This is why we have created Streamr integration templates for one of the most used Big Data processing tools today, Apache Spark.

When building data architectures that need to be capable of handling terabytes or even petabytes of data, there are often multiple different tools required. It’s very important that the tools perform fast and scale horizontally. You might need tools such as Apache NiFi to handle the transfer of data inside the architecture effortlessly, and tools such as Apache Cassandra and HDFS to store the data for later use in ways that allow fast recovery.

You might also need tools to do computation on the data in various different points of the architecture. Is there any movies where aliens are peaceful and they're more human-like (can semi-communicate quickly with humans)? Seems like every movie about aliens, they want to destroy us or they're so far removed from being human that there's no exploration of the societal impact of meeting a technologically advanced civilization similar to ourselves.

Closest thing I can think of is Cocoon and Starman but I'm thinking something with more large scale societal impact/integration, rather than one or few aliens being hidden from everyone except the main characters the whole movie.

So I recently didn't get an internship and I think the main reason when they asked about how I maintained version checking in a my github project (paraphrasing, I forgot exactly how they asked). Most of my experience in projects has been solo stuff so I don't think I've ever had this problem. The group projects I have done were mostly hackathon projects and again, I don't think this issue ever came up. Can someone help me understand what sort of answer/experiences they might have been looking for?
