Kongo Puns

Hello, people have probably already talked about these subjects but I haven't found anything yet (probably because I suck at searshing things).

1. Something kind of came to my mind as I finished the manga this morning. It is said some souls left by some humans weren't able to reach the otherworld because they weren't good people and so their souls weren't pure. Because of that, they had to rely on some doll to be purified. Ok. Now, my question is, why gem's souls aren't pure ? I mean, if they were to be tranformed into souls, some of them would be pure, I think ? Yet, it seems most of them aren't (I'm saying most because we haven't seen all gems in the last chapter). Does that mean the gems were bad people ? Or does that simply mean that the tool the're using to be tranformed can only transform gems into unpurified souls ? If they aren't pure, have they ever be pure ?

2. I honestly dislike Kongo. I feel like he was without even wanting it, the most manipulative character in the story. I know Kongo couldn't say anything but still, I can't prevent myself from disliking him when I see him in the last chapter. In the last chapter, he seemed to be very thankful toward aechmea. The very person who abducked gems and grinded them into dust. Moreover, I think Kongo is aware that aechmea manipulated Phos and yet, again, he is thankful. What are your thoughts about Kongo ? At some point, I can't prevent myself from thinking Kongo used Phos as a tool to free himself.

3. Gems behavior is weird. I understand they felt hatred toward Phos. However, that doesn't explain why they almost love lunarians who were their ennemies for centuries. It looks like they even like lunarians more than Phos (WTF?). I understand Phos did bad things in their eyes. However, the lunarians destroyed many of their own kind for centuries. Then, why don't they have the same behavior toward them as the one they had with Phos ? Similarly, I don't understand the moon gems either. When Phos was "killed" and tortured for 200 years. The moon gems seemed to accept it with ease. Diamond seemed not to give a shit at all (WTF?). They didn't try to help Phos at all. Honestly, at this point of the story, the gems didn't deserve Phos at all, they don't deserve Phos love and they don't deserve Phos to pray for them either.

Let's not forget Cairn who when they learned aechmea manipulated Phos from the very beginning was like "Sure, I love you so much"

Hey everyone, I’m a pretty new player. I’ve been playing Kongo for the first time (going for culture) and I’m 150 turns in, and France has just converted one of my cities to Catholicism. Now, that city is producing apostles spontaneously! What is going on? If I spread Frances religion, won’t that benefit France, not me? Also, Kongo can’t have a religion so I’m confused. A Takeshi's Castle loss has hit. Actor, Wrestler, Stuntman: Strong Kongo died earlier this week in a retirement home for the elderly. He was 81. Japanese game show fans will remember him as one of the elite guards on Takeshi's Castle. He was one of only five people who was in every episode of Takeshi's Castle (and Takeshi Kitano was not one of them). I never met Strong, but every account I ever heard was that he was one of the nicest men ever. This despite the fact that he played a heavy through most of his career.
