Before I suffer when deleting these things later tonight I thought at least one person might want one. Just comment below and leave a link code if you're interested!
These corsola have both HA (regenerator) and non HA (Hustle/Natural cure) so let me know which one you want too or I will give them out randomly. Also a lot of these coral will be "no good" in attack and speed so if that is a deal breaker for you I am sorry. Giveaway will last for 1 hour (or a little less depending on interest)!
My IGN will be Anthony
Edit: Corsola also have 2 egg moves (Mist and curse) and a nature (+atk -spd)

... keep reading on reddit β‘So I just beat both PokΓ©mon FireRed and HeartGold for the first time recently and I was stuck for a while after cause the games don't make it clear how their region's league work. So apparently most people believe that Lance was the champion and Blue apparently defeated him but I don't see how it makes sense since if Lance was the champion there'd be no elite four, it'd be an elite three. Also why in HeartGold is Lance the champion of Johto, did he move there after losing to Red or Leaf or whoever you played as? Did he get fed up with himself for losing in Kanto and move to Johto?
We finally got some new johto sync pairs thanks to the BP update (Morty/mismagius and Karen/umbreon) but the last pullable one was summer Lyra and Jigglypuff on july 31th 2020(also the only limited johto one since launch).
The last new Johto character released was again Morty/Driblim on july 15th 2020 and we have yet to see a new character since.
While a good part of johto characters were already available at the game launch and some important one were added soon after (Lyra and Ethan), don't you guys think that Johto has been neglected a bit too much by the developers in the last year?
I've always loved the gen 2 games and one of my goals in masters is to collect every single johto sync pair and tbh for the time being it was an easy task... pls DeNa give johto some love! (but for the love of god don't release a johto limited in july since i'm broke after the master fairs T_T)
The two mascot legendaries of Pokemon Gold and Silver and their remakes, Ho-oh and Lugia, while may not be directly important to its games as other legendaries are, still have their own inspirations and symbolisms which affect their in-game lore and Pokedex entries.
Ho-oh, the Rainbow Pokemon, is best typically to be known as being inspired by the Fenghuang, the mythical East Asian phoenix, as they are both represented as being immortal, sacred firebirds who reside in the skies.
Lugia, the Diving Pokemon, is a bit more obscure in it's design, yet can also be thought of as being inspired by the Shinto god Ryujin, the draconic master of the sea and storms that lives in a resplendent coral palace on the ocean floor, which happens to match the colouration of Lugia's shiny form, a red and white colour, as Lugia is also known as to live on the ocean floor and cause powerful storms.
These legendaries have also been described as opposites of each other, counteracting yet completing the two, much like that of the Yin-Yang.
The Yin-Yang as described is the concept of duality throughout the universe and within ourselves, which Ho-oh and Lugia snugly fit. Ho-oh is based on the feminine Fenghuang, the master of flames and the sky, while Lugia is the masculine dragon, the master of storms and the ocean.
But also, as Yin and Yang are opposites, so is the concept of Death and Rebirth, a reccuring topic brought up in Pokemon frequently. And so, it would make sense for the stormy, watery dragon of the depths below to represent death, the end of life and the destruction caused by its monstrous storms, while the fiery, elegant Ho-oh, the phoenix, to represent life renewed once again, reborn from the ashes of destruction to continue once again, and so as these Pokemon represent the yin-yang, they also represent the cycle of death and rebirth, the end that completes life, and the very death that allows life to return, in a new and stronger form.
A theory that supports these symbolisms is the legend of the Burned Tower, the great lightning strike that brought down the Brass Tower and killed three Pokemon, only for Ho-oh to clear the skies and bestow life on these fallen Pokemon, resurrecting them as the legendary beasts. And thus, it would only make sense for Lugia itself to have caused this storm that destroyed its roosting place and brought the death of the three Pokemon, and in worry for its powers of destruction, left for the Whirl Islands to live in the ocean
... keep reading on reddit β‘Over the past couple years, and especially recently as we now wait for BDSP and Legends: Arceus, there's been a lot of discussion here and there about a possible Let's Go sequel in Johto or just a straight up standard Johto remake more in the style of other games, whichever way they decide to go, whether it's Let's Go mechanics or standard core mechanics, one thing is for certain: the Johto region is BROKEN.
As someone who absolutely adores the Johto region and considers HGSS to be in the top 3 of best main series games of all-time, I'm also able to point out the glaring weaknesses of the region, namely, the Pokemon lineup is atrocious. Despite introducing 100 new Pokemon, the Gen 2 games and their Gen 4 remakes had mostly Kanto Pokemon in the Johto region and, ironically, a lot of the Johto Pokemon were only available in Kanto, that's a little backwards, isn't it?
The most commonly cited examples are Dragonite, who is available by the 8th gym, yet Tyranitar isn't available until you've cleared all the gyms in Kanto in addition to Johto. Houndour, despite being a Johto Pokemon, is only available in Route 7, which is in Kanto, in HGSS it was additionally available in the Johto Safari Zone. Speaking of the Johto Safari Zone, it TRIED to fix some of these issues, but because it was available late in the game and was pushed to the very far corner of the map, some people didn't touch it or didn't even really know it was there. I think if ANYTHING needs to be taken from Let's Go, it's the complete rework of what wild Pokemon appear where. Let's Go did an amazing job of shaking up Kanto and putting Pokemon where they weren't before. Disregarding Charizards, Dragonites, and the Legendary Birds, let's take Viridian Forest for example, they added Oddish and Bellsprout, as well as a rare spawn for Bulbasaur in the forest, this gives the players much earlier access to Grass-types that is otherwise nonexistent in any Kanto journey where you starter isn't Bulbasaur. Mt. Moon added a rare spawn for Chansey, Cerulean Cave added Lickitung and Snorlax, Rock Tunnel added Kangaskhan and Charmander, and so on. There's lots of examples in LGPE or redistributing or just straight up adding new wild Pokemon and I'm all for it, I think it makes for a better game if you have more teambuilding options instead of the usual Pidgeot/Tentacruel/Nidoking/Golem options and what not.
What I specifically want to address though is how to redistribute all the Johto Pokemon, particular

If you happen to have a corsola, I can give you a HA treecko or HA Rowlet (can breed more ha starters), a friendball Applin, a loveball (alolan) vulpix, a dreamball Happiny or moonball moona (Muna? Idk). Or whatever you might need atm.
Thanks!
A common fan discussion is why Falkner has a Pidgeotto as his ace, and what Pokemon he should have instead. Murkrow, Natu, Hoothoot/Noctowl, Gligar, Skarmory, and even Delibird have been tossed around as suggestions.
But there's a clear answer: It's Noctowl. This might surprise you given Noctowl is a fully evolved Pokemon with a base stat total of 442, nearly 100 points higher than Pidgeotto. However, Noctowl makes sense when you stop to think about it.
Noctowl has a base attack stat of 50 and learns the 35 BP Peck instead of the 40 BP Gust. It hits even weaker than Pidgeotto. Noctowl also learns no special attacking moves before level 41, so it is entirely dependent on its meager physical attack. Before level 9, Noctowl only learns Peck, Tackle, Growl, and Foresight. Replacing Growl with Mud Slap, that's still not exactly a moveset that strikes fear into the hearts of trainers.
Noctowl's bulk is pretty overwhelming... But because it's so offensively mediocre, you have all the time in the world to lower the stats or inflict status conditions. This turns Falkner from a speed bump to a still easy, but more prolonged and involved battle.
As a signature Pokemon, Noctowl is much more exciting and intimidating than Pidgeotto. It's a new fully-evolved Pokemon rather than the mid-stage of a common early route Pokemon from Kanto.
But if you're not convinced, let's look at the alternatives:
**tl;dr: Noctowl is bulky but hits like a wet noodle. It's a big spooky owl that looks more dangerous than it ac
