Pokémon do work in the real world and are transacted digitally in either centralized exchanges at a pokecenter or P2P via trades. Pokeballs are just cold storage wallets.
The in-game currency is more a basic game mechanic than it is in-game currency as we know them today. Items are cheap af and your characters earns far more than enough just by advancing the plot. The only true commodity in the game is Pokémon and they are traded with much more utility, value and scarcity.

Specifically the Green, Red, Blue and Yellow versions that covered the original 151 Pokémon of the Kanto region.

It’s as clear as if I’m playing the game right now and only out of my right ear. I have hearing issues out of my left, but I don’t know if they would effect it.
It’s the battle theme and one of the more important battles. It tries to go into the victory sound but then straight back to the combat.
I am officially insane.
I always envisioned it as not only a bio pic, but a tribute to Pokémon fans. The film would show all the way from when he had the idea to when the games released. I always imagined it would use remastered music from the games as it’s soundtrack. Maybe it would be an anime movie as well. I honestly want this more than DP remakes.
