A list of puns related to "Isosceles Trapezoid"
I don't understand the rule that makes angle DBA (angle above x) equal to 25ยบ. I understand that angles D and A add up to 180ยบ.
how do you know the angle above x is 25?
Thank you for your help

What I tried:
So where is the mistake?
A sicklic quad.
I'm struggling to recall my geometry.
I'm installing travertine(stone) coping around a hot tub and need to cut the stone into identical isosceles trapezoids in order to have them encircle the top of the tub. It would look something like this.
The dimensions of the hot tub are:
In addition:
How do I calculate the proper isosceles trapezoid to cover the the 1 foot wall around the tub?
I found volume of a cross section using Isosceles Trapezoids (three equilateral triangles together), using the equation x^(1/2) * cos(pi * x) + 3, x from [0,7.5]. I would like to know the name of a cross section that uses isosceles trapezoids. Thanks!
Exhaust from heads to muffler needs to be replaced. I see that the previous owner used older style boxes that are โall in oneโ (โ74?) instead of separate heater/head pipes (โ77). The muffler to the boxes is salvageable, but the union is an isosceles trapezoid vs the triangle (that my setup is supposed to have). Is there an advantage to this or did he just use what was handy? Iโd like to save money by using the muffler and pipes going to the boxes, but what is paramount is doing right by my bus. Thank you for your time.
Did you know you can extend the range of Q2 by rotating it?
I don't see many Aatrox players do this, but I do see the very best Aatrox players (e.g. Naayil, Xiaomin) do it on almost every combo.
Mastering this is crucial for Aatrox, as it allows you to hit your Q2 much more easily after chaining your opponent with W, which will then allow the W to pull them, which then guarantees your Q3! So basically, using this correctly can mean the difference between getting a full combo and only getting Q1 + initial W damage.
You don't have to know how this works to use it, but I'm being thorough here and I like math :P
To understand this trick, there's a bit of geometry to know here.
Aatrox's Q2 is unique compared to Q1 and Q3. Q1 is a long, thin rectangle, so no angle shenanigans can be used there. Q3 is a circle, so also no tricks to use with angles.
But Q2 is different. Q2's shape is a trapezoid, specifically it's an isosceles trapezoid. As such, the hitbox extends out to the sides of where you target the Q2. This is important, because it means that the distance from the center to the corner is longer than the distance from the center straight ahead to the edge! Thus, rotating it actually gives you a bit of extra range.
I'll try and show an illustration using my amazing paint skills. Now obviously this just a drawing and not exactly to scale, but it shows how the angle works.
Here's an example showing a typical Aatrox Q2 aimed directly at the opponent just out of range - the Q2 misses.
Here's another example showing the same positions, only this time the Q2 is rotated ~45ยฐ - notice the same Q2 now hits when it's rotated!
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
An isosceles triangle has the base AB with the length 4 cm, and height 6 cm. A trapezoid DEFG is inscribed inside the triangle so BE are on AB, F is on BC and G on AC. The sides DE and FG are parallel, and angle GDE=DEF=120ยฐ. Name the distance between DE and FG x.
Find the area, y expressed though x.
I pretty much got all the angles, but am unsure of how to apply them to find the lengths I need.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies ๐
It really does, I swear!
